We’re looking for a Head of Marketing to build and lead the marketing function at Tilla. This is a foundational role with the opportunity to shape our brand, messaging, and go-to-market strategy from the ground up.
As a key member of the leadership team, you’ll work closely with the founders, sales, and product to define how we communicate our value to the world. You’ll drive marketing strategy, execution, and performance across multiple channels with a strong focus on demand generation, product marketing, and brand positioning in a complex B2B SaaS space.
You’ll be our first marketing hire and will start as an individual contributor—developing campaigns, content, and messaging—while also laying the groundwork to scale the team over time.
What You’ll DoDefine and execute a scalable marketing strategy aligned with company goals, as well as defining and managing the external and internal resources required to execute your plans
Craft clear, compelling positioning and messaging that resonates with our target audiences
Build and manage Tilla’s presence across owned and earned channels (website, content, PR, social, etc.
Lead demand generation campaigns to support pipeline and revenue growth
Create and manage content (case studies, blog posts, newsletters, white papers, etc.)
Support our presence at industry events, conferences, and customer communities
Establish core marketing metrics and build reporting processes to measure ROI
Collaborate closely with product and sales to ensure message-market fit and campaign effectiveness
Shape and evolve our brand identity and tone of voice
5+ years of marketing experience, including in a senior or lead role in B2B SaaS
Experience building marketing functions from the ground up in a startup or high-growth environment
Strong strategic thinking, balanced with hands-on execution skills
Deep understanding of modern demand generation, content marketing, and lead funnel strategy
Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and communication skills
Experience working in complex problem spaces or industries with niche customer segments
A collaborative mindset and proven ability to work cross-functionally with product and sales teams
Fluency in English
Experience marketing to maritime / HR personas
Background in maritime, logistics, or workforce tech
