Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Lead the regional translation and execution of the Marketing roadmap into impactful localized activities for the targeted audience, in order to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Examples of such regional activities may include events, advocacy, market intel, localization of messaging, campaign execution, channel, social media & community.
- Partner with the regional sales organization to identify, define, align on and pursue strategic regional priorities and targets in order to have a measurable business impact and long-term growth
- Develop tools and KPIs, also with other teams, to track and measure the impact of marketing activities in the region in order to define and implement corrective actions in case of underperformance
- Engage with key stakeholders across divisions to align overall business objectives, optimize resource allocation, foster cross-functional collaboration, and integrate feedback and insights, in order to ensure that marketing operations are efficient, effective, and strategically aligned with organizational goals
- Drive innovation in marketing strategies and processes, identifying and implementing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to enhance regional marketing effectiveness and maintain a competitive edge
Qualifications and Skills:
- BSc/BA in marketing or a related field; MSc/MA/MBA is preferred
- 10+ years experience in marketing in life sciences or comparable industry; proven line management experience of at least 5 years
- Strategic knowledge of the regional market (trends, customer behavior, competitive landscape), complemented by an extensive professional network which can be leveraged to drive growth
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage diverse audiences
- High analytical proficiency with demonstrated critical thinking and strategic problem-solving capabilities
- Strong capability to devise, measure and monitor KPIs indicative of marketing performance
- Awareness of relevant product portfolio; understanding of product features, benefits, and positioning
- Fluent in English, with additional language skills as required for regional engagement
