Marketing Strategy & Brand Leadership
- Lead the localization and execution of global and regional marketing strategies and portfolio priorities.
- Oversee strategic and operational brand planning across the portfolio, ensuring clear positioning and lifecycle management.
- Drive market, customer, and competitive insights to inform strategy, investment decisions, and resource allocation.
- Ensure high-quality development and execution of promotional strategies, campaigns, and materials in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
- Build and maintain effective engagement with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), scientific societies, and key external stakeholders.
- Ensure strong company presence at major scientific and industry events.
Commercial Excellence & Performance Management
- Define and implement the Commercial Excellence framework, focusing on sales force effectiveness, customer segmentation, targeting, and performance management.
- Lead incentive strategy design and governance in partnership with HR and Finance.
- Oversee CRM strategy and data utilization to enable insight-driven decision-making and execution excellence.
- Monitor commercial performance through KPIs, dashboards, and analytics; recommend and drive corrective actions where required.
- Contribute to regional Commercial Excellence initiatives and ensure alignment with global best practices.
Marketing Capability Development & Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the marketing team, fostering strong strategic, analytical, and execution capabilities.
- Establish clear capability frameworks for marketers, including brand management, customer-centricity, analytics, and omnichannel excellence.
- Partner with HR to design and implement structured marketing capability development programs, onboarding, and career pathways.
- Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the marketing organization.
- Act as a role model for leadership behaviors, compliance, and ethical standards.
Financial & Strategic Planning
- Own and manage the Marketing and Commercial Excellence budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and return on investment.
- Lead forecasting, long-range planning, and scenario analysis in collaboration with Finance and Sales leadership.
- Support strategic business planning, new product planning, and portfolio optimization initiatives.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- MBA or postgraduate qualification in Business or Marketing is an advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing and/or commercial excellence roles within multinational companies.
- Proven track record in leading marketing teams and developing marketing capabilities.
- Strong experience in prescription pharmaceutical products and regulated markets.
- Demonstrated expertise in commercial excellence, sales force effectiveness, and performance management.
- Experience across multiple therapeutic areas is preferred.
