Your role:

This critical role is to lead marketing for the America’s region working in full collaboration with the central team. The aim is to maximise our limited resources to ensure that we grow awareness, build desire and harvest leads in the most cost-effective way possible and maintain the commitment of the US/CA Dealer network.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • This role is a significant role in the Global Marketing/Commercial organization. The America’s represents around 60% of Grenadier volume and the viability of the business depends on this market.
  • This role needs to seamlessly work in open and trusting collaboration with the central team. This combined team is dedicated to the success of the North American market.
  • Formally report into the Global Marketing leadership team based in London, ensuring seamless, transparent communication of North American market dynamics, performance metrics, and strategic initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Executive Vice President of the Americas to ensure the local marketing roadmap directly accelerates regional business objectives and complements operational milestones.
  • Collaborate with the central team to ensure that global campaigns are effective, culturally relevant commercial campaigns tailored for the US and Canadian automotive landscapes.
  • Identify content creators and influencers to deliver US/CA local content.
  • Collaborate with London-based creative and asset-generation teams to influence the development of global marketing materials, ensuring they meet the specific technical and regulatory requirements of the North American market.
  • Partner seamlessly with the North American Head of Sales to coordinate high-impact campaigns that feed the retail pipeline and align with monthly and quarterly volume targets.
  • Maintain a lockstep relationship with the North American Head of Public Relations to sync major media moments, vehicle rollouts, and experiential events with paid media strategies.
  • Liaise with the North American Head of Network to equip new open points and expanding retail locations with robust grand opening playbooks and localized market-entry campaigns.
  • Serve as the chief marketing contact for the National Retailer Body, managing communication regarding tier-1 national campaigns, co-op programs, and dealer-level feedback.
  • Partner with the Global media agency team alongside the central team
  • Budget approval ultimately sits with the central team/CEO. 

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Likely educated to first degree level (BA or equivalent).
  • Marketing Communications and Media experience in a B2C environment.
  • Automotive experience highly desirable, but preference would be for a candidate with broader sector experience than just automotive.
  • 5-10 years’ experience preferred.
  • Proven track record in delivering leads/sales performance.
  • Managed substantial budgets.
  • Experience co-ordinating agencies to successfully complete multiple projects.

Technical skills:

  • Up-to-date knowledge with the latest trends and marketing best practice.
  • Creative with ability to think outside the box.
  • Commercial acumen and articulate with strong presentation skills.
  • IT literacy.

Behavioural skills:

  • Proven experience but with the energy and desire to rapidly develop.
  • Challenger spirit - we don’t want someone who wants to fit in. We are looking for a more ‘revolutionary’ spirit.
