What your day could look like
- Global 3PL Network Architecture: Lead the design, selection, and implementation of a global 3PL network. This includes running the RFQ process, negotiating contracts, and managing partner performance to service customers across widely distributed and often remote locations (e.g., in rural US and Australia).
- Inventory & Service Level Management: Own our end-to-end delivery SLAs. You will design and manage a network of regional stock buffers, including inventory for new sales, maintenance, and swaps. This involves directing production stock to the right locations based on demand signals and making critical trade-offs between the cost of holding stock and achieving service level targets.
- International Freight & Cost Management: Oversee all international and domestic freight movements from manufacturing hubs to our markets. You will continuously analyse routes, monitor trends, and find creative solutions to manage our cost-to-serve and preserve strong margins.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure full compliance with shipping regulations for all routes, including the specific management of returned goods containing Lithium-Ion batteries. You will champion a strong health and safety culture across all logistics operations.
- Operational Excellence & Problem-Solving: Act as the primary point of escalation for any logistical challenges, proactively problem-solving to mitigate delays and maintain a seamless supply chain that supports our rapidly scaling business.
