Your Role: Head of Logistic Operations (m/w/d)

KVP Pharma + Veterinär Produkte GmbH, as part of the Elanco Animal Health company, has been producing around 175 different pharmaceutical products for more than 50 years. We are currently hiring a Head of Logistics Operations (m/f/d) to start as soon as possible.
This is a two-year fixed-term position.
Your Responsibilities
- Managing the warehouse and shipping departments and ensuring that the flow of goods complies with GMP
- Overseeing operational logistics
- Responsible for SOP compliance, stock controls, inventory counts, and Veeva complaints
- Serving as Head of Manufacturing (Section 12 AMWHV) and the responsible person for wholesale (Section 52a AMG)
- Ensuring occupational safety and HSE compliance, as well as serving as the aviation security officer
- Budget planning, cost control, and coordination of capital projects
What You Need to Succeed
- Min. 5 -7 years of experience in logistics, ideally in the pharmaceutical industry
- Min. 5 years of leadership experience
- Very good German and English skills
- In-depth knowledge of GMP as well as the requirements of the AMWHV and AMG
- Strong leadership skills, the ability to motivate others, and a knack for processes
- A degree with a focus on logistics or supply chain management
- An independent, proactive work style and a strong focus on achieving goals
- Willingness to serve as an aviation security officer and representative to the Federal Aviation Authority (LBA)
