Boeing Global Services (BGS) Consumables & Expendables (C&E) Distribution Business is looking for a Business & Sales Support Specialist (f/m/d) to join our team in Norderstedt, GER.
The Business & Sales Support Specialist contributes to the collection, analysis, and communication of business information to support sales and marketing objectives. This includes business opportunities and risks, market trends and drivers, and company goals and status. This role supports sales leadership across EMEAI and the local management of the of the German legal entities, Boeing Distribution Service ISC GmbH and Boeing Distribution Deutschland GmbH.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support sales leadership within Europe through reporting, analysis, communication, and meeting coordination.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize information to support sales and marketing objectives, business opportunities and risks, market trends, constraints, and company goals.
- Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports for Sales and entity senior leadership.
- Develop presentation materials and slide decks for leadership meetings, including all-hands meetings and other business updates for internal and external audiences.
- Perform ad hoc data analyis and develop project reports to support decision-making and business planning.
- Lead and coordinate communication activities behalf of General Management across both German Boeing Distribution sites.
- Support the planning and execution of internal and external events such as local town halls and other leadership communication forums.
- Assist with the management, planning and execution of sales training and related business activities for the EMEAI Sales team.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure timely, accurate, and effective business communications.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience working in the aviation industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint in particular) & Business Intelligence tools.
- Experience using SAP or similar ERP Systems.
- Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English & German.
- Strong Presentation and Communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Logistics & Supply Chain or similar. Or a completed apprenticeship in a similar field.
- 3+ Years of experience in business support, sales operations, market analysis, data analytics or a similar field.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, international environment.
- Ability to work with complex, broad analytical models and interpret business data.
- Experience with SQL databases and data querying/reporting tools as well as Salesforce or other CRM tools.
- Basic understanding of advanced mathematics and analytical concepts.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Experience supporting senior leadership in a global or matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with scenario analysis and market strategy support.
- Experience supporting internal communications and event management.
