The Head of IT will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies aligned with business objectives, ensuring secure and efficient technology operations, and driving digital transformation across the organization. The role includes overseeing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, cloud solutions, and IT support services while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and business continuity. The candidate will work closely with senior management, internal teams, and external vendors to deliver scalable and cost-effective IT solutions that support business growth and performance. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement IT strategies aligned with organizational goals and business needs.
- Lead and manage the organization’s IT infrastructure, systems, and technology operations.
- Oversee implementation and maintenance of ERP systems and related business applications.
- Manage cloud-based infrastructure, networks, data storage, and cybersecurity frameworks.
- Drive digitization and continuous improvement of business processes and systems.
- Ensure IT systems are secure, reliable, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
- Develop and enforce IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
- Manage IT vendors, consultants, and service providers to ensure effective service delivery.
- Lead IT support functions to ensure timely resolution of technical issues and user satisfaction.
- Monitor IT performance, identify risks, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Develop and manage the IT budget while ensuring cost efficiency and optimization.
- Provide technical guidance and strategic advice to senior management on technology initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the IT team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend solutions that improve business operations.
- Ensure compliance with relevant IT standards, regulatory requirements, and data protection laws.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Master’s degree in IT Management or related field is an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, ITIL, or equivalent are an advantage.
- Minimum of 8–10 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Strong experience in IT strategy development and implementation.
- Proven experience managing IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, ERP systems, and cloud technologies.
- Experience leading ERP implementation projects, particularly Microsoft Dynamics, is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and disaster recovery planning.
- Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing IT budgets and optimizing technology investments.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-departmental environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure and enterprise IT systems is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills are required.
