Key tasks:
· Partner with the business and represent IT at the ING Hungary Bank management team
· Defining and implementing the IT strategy with proper IT Landscape in line with the bank’s IT strategy and IT Target Operating Model (TOM)
· Identifying and adopting applicable changes in the market with regards to core banking developments and NextGen messaging standards
· Ensuring a safe and compliant bank from an IT perspective (IT Custodianship)
· Defining and implementing vendor and sourcing strategy
· Acts as an ambassador for culture change and serves as a role model in terms of the new agile way of working
· Stimulates cross-border interaction between and alignment across people, tribes, squads, areas and chapters
· Encourages IT Engineers to continuously develop their capabilities and competencies to remain up-to-market in their field at all times
Required skills and behaviour:
· College or University degree in IT
· At least 8 years of Engineering experience, preferably in creating high scalability mission-critical and secure applications
· Leadership skills, determination, decisiveness and problem-solving skills
· Track record in transformation and increasing performance and organizational health by applying Agile and BusDevOps principles
· Understand Banking business products and processes and innovations
· Having a continuous improvement mind-set, excellent analytical skills
· Fluency of written and spoken English
· Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
· Ability to engage and motivate the team, by setting a vision and alignment to execute the IT strategy
· Strong knowledge of Hungarian Banking IT environment
