Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end investment product operating model, including governance frameworks, investment onboarding, in‑life product activities, and maintaining clear operational independence while partnering with Investment Governance & Research.

  • Drive execution and continuous uplift of the DDO framework across all investment menus and managed investment schemes, ensuring strong distribution oversight, monitoring, review triggers, and alignment with Legal, Risk & Compliance, the Trustee Office and Operations.

  • Lead commercial negotiations with fund managers to secure sustainable, member‑benefit–aligned arrangements.

  • Coordinate a complex stakeholder ecosystem across Product, Investments, Operations, Distribution, Legal, Risk & Compliance, Technology and external managers, providing accurate governance reporting and proactive risk management to senior leadership and committees.

  • Support strategic growth through disciplined investment menu expansion, prioritisation and commercial execution, ensuring competitive differentiation while maintaining strong governance and member‑outcomes focus.

About you

You’re a strategic, outcomes-driven leader with the credibility to operate at senior levels and the discipline to build scalable governance in a regulated environment. You bring strong judgement, influence and the ability to balance compliance requirements with commercial outcomes.

  • 8–12 years’ experience in investment product governance, platform product, superannuation, or related financial services.

  • Strong understanding of APRA prudential standards, ASIC (DDO), and superannuation legislation.

  • Demonstrated capability in process design, governance uplift, and regulatory operating model implementation.

  • Experience managing complex conflicts of interest and navigating commercial arrangements.

  • Strong stakeholder influence, communication and executive reporting capabilities.

  • Values-led leader with experience building high-performing teams and fostering governance excellence.
