How You Make a DifferenceAs Head of Influencer Marketing & Social Media, you are responsible for defining and executing the integrated influencer and social media strategy for Samsung Electronics Benelux. You combine strategic vision with hands-on leadership, ensuring our brand shows up authentically, creatively, and consistently across all touchpoints.
You lead a high-performing team and maintain strong relationships with creators, influencers, and agencies across the region. You turn brand ambitions into innovative, data-driven campaigns with measurable impact. Your thinking is future-focused, your decisions are grounded in insights, and your execution strengthens both brand relevance and commercial performance.
You work closely with Brand, PR, Paid Media, E-commerce, and Product teams to deliver cohesive, high-impact marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing the influencer and social media strategy for the Benelux
- Leading, mentoring, and inspiring the social and influencer marketing team
- Building and maintaining relationships with influencers, creators, and talent agencies
- Translating brand goals into creative, data-driven influencer and social campaigns
- Managing KPIs, dashboards, and performance insights to optimize future activities
- Ensuring a consistent brand identity and tone of voice across all social and influencer channels
- Collaborating intensively with Brand, PR, Paid Media, E-commerce, and Product teams
- Driving measurable brand growth and commercial impact through influencer and social initiatives
Skills and Qualifications
What Are Your AssetsAs our new Head of Influencer Marketing & Social Media, you combine creativity with strategic leadership and execution with vision. You understand the influencer landscape across the Benelux and know how to navigate a fast-moving digital world. You bring structure, impact, and ownership to a high-profile domain.
We also request:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in social media and influencer marketing, preferably on the brand side
- Demonstrated experience in leading and scaling a marketing team
- Strong understanding of the Benelux influencer ecosystem and emerging digital trends
- A strategic mindset and the ability to build long-term creator and channel strategies
- Experience with performance tracking, reporting, and campaign analytics
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- A structured, data-driven, and growth-focused approach
- Fluency in Dutch and English, spoken and written
- A forward-looking vision on the evolving role of influencers and social media
- A strong network of creators, influencers, and agencies in the Benelux
- Hands-on experience with platforms such as Sprout Social, Traackr, CreatorIQ, or similar tools
- The ability to balance creativity with measurable business results
- A leadership style that inspires, empowers, and elevates your team
