About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Growth to lead the Growth Product Management function within our Product team and reporting to our Chief Product Officer. This is a pivotal role at the intersection of product development, data-driven experimentation, and cross-functional collaboration, focused on driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization.

In this role, you will work closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align growth strategies across the organization. Leveraging insights from analytics, customer behavior, and market trends, you will define and execute initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

This is a high-impact leadership role for a product management expert who thrives on scaling products through innovative and customer-centric growth strategies.

Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Product Leadership

  • Define and lead the product growth strategy, ensuring alignment with the Smartcat’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Own and prioritize the growth roadmap, focusing on customer acquisition, activation, retention, and expansion.
  • Collaborate with core product teams to ensure growth-focused features and experiments are integrated into the broader product experience.

Experimentation & Data-Driven Insights

  • Build and manage a robust experimentation framework, using A/B testing, cohort analysis, and other methodologies to optimize the customer journey.
  • Partner cross-functional to build dashboards and reporting frameworks, ensuring visibility into growth KPIs.
  • Use customer insights and behavioral data to identify friction points and opportunities for improvement.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the product lead in aligning with Marketing on demand generation and channel conversion strategies.
  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to enhance user adoption, retention, and expansion initiatives.
  • Work closely with Engineering and Design teams to deliver growth-focused product solutions.

Customer-Centric Product Development

  • Advocate for the customer by ensuring growth initiatives align with delivering exceptional user experiences.
  • Incorporate customer feedback and market trends into the development of growth strategies.
  • Continuously refine the product vision based on real-world usage and insights.

Team Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of Growth Product Managers, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Set clear goals and priorities for the Growth team to align their efforts with company-wide objectives.
  • Champion best practices in product management and growth experimentation.

QualificationsExperience

  • 8+ years of experience in product management, with a strong focus on growth, experimentation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Proven track record of delivering measurable results through product-led growth initiatives.
  • Experience working in SaaS, e-commerce, or digital products with a focus on user-centric growth.

Skills

  • Expertise in growth frameworks, funnel optimization, and experimentation methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Amplitude, Mixpanel, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
