Lion Finance Group PLC is looking for a strategically minded finance leader to take on one of the most influential roles in the organization: Head of Group Budgeting and Analysis. Operating at the group level within Lion Finance Group PLC, you'll sit at the intersection of financial planning, strategic decision-making, and corporate growth — helping define where the business goes next and how it gets there.

This is a high-visibility, high-impact role for someone who wants their analysis to directly influence boardroom decisions, investor confidence, and long-term strategy across an international, multi-entity group.

What You'll Do

Drive Group Financial Planning & Analysis:

  • Work with local teams and local management to lead the Group's annual budgeting, multi-year forecasting, and strategic planning cycles;

  • Deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports to executive management and the Board — with sharp commentary on results, variances, and KPIs;

  • Champion continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, and methodologies across the Group;

  • Partner with subsidiary finance teams to align best practices and ensure consistent, accurate reporting.

Shape Strategic Finance & Corporate Development:

  • Take part in evaluating investment opportunities and partnerships through rigorous financial assessment;

  • Contribute to assessing growth opportunities across international markets, backed by sharp competitor analysis;

  • Help shape capital allocation strategy and risk assessment at the group level;

  • Engage with international stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, with direct exposure to global financial markets and cross-border strategic initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10 years in a senior financial leadership role (FP&A, corporate development, investment banking, or private equity), including 3–5 years in a managerial role;

  • Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field; CFA or ACCA is a strong plus;

  • Deep fluency in financial planning and analysis within a complex, multi-entity international group;

  • A talent for turning complex data into clear, actionable insight for executive audiences.

Leadership & Behavioral Competencies:

  • Communication & Influence: Credible communicator with investors, international financial institutions, and the Board;

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and draw strategic conclusions from data;

  • Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to build, motivate, and mentor high-performing team; Effective coordination of cross-functional teams across multiple jurisdictions and countries;

  • Stakeholder Management: Ability to build relationships with partners from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds;

  • Adaptability & Resilience: Maintains high performance in fast-changing environments.

Skills Required
