In Global Business Services(GBS) we are passionate about simplification, with the ambition to significantly improve business workflows while enabling operational excellence across the enterprise.We are now looking for a Head of Global People Services, a unit under Global Business Services (GBS) within Global Finance Function.The position is part of the GBS Leadership Team reporting to the Head of GBS.In this role you will lead Global People Services, consisting of approximately 450 employees across key delivery centers including India and the Philippines, with additional presence across Ericsson countries globally.
Role Overview
As Head of Global People Services you will lead the transformation and evolution of People Services into a simplified, scalable and digitally enabled service model that delivers enterprise value and exceptional employee experience.You will be responsible for integrating, modernizing and continuously improving People operations, ensuring that services are aligned with the needs of the business and delivered efficiently through a global, agile and technology-enabled operating model.A key priority will be to drive simplification, automation and end-to-end process design, business flows across the People lifecycle, partnering closely with People, GBS and business stakeholders across the organization.Operating in a truly global environment spanning more than 180 countries, you will play a critical role in ensuring People Services supports Ericsson's strategic priorities and future transformation agenda.
What you will do
Drive simplification and transformation
• Lead the simplification and redesign of People Services processes into scalable end-to-end enterprise flows across People and GBS functions. • Drive automation, digitalization and AI-enabled service delivery to improve efficiency and employee experience. • Identify and deliver transformation opportunities that reduce complexity, improve cycle times and increase operational effectiveness.
• Partner with digital and technology teams to design and implement automation solutions (e.g., RPA, low-code platforms, workflow orchestration) to enable scalable and sustainable process transformation.
• Inspire and enable teams to deliver transformation outcomes by setting clear direction, fostering a high-performance culture and driving accountability for results.
Deliver operational excellence
• Ensure high-quality, reliable and efficient delivery of People services globally, supporting the full employee lifecycle. • Continuously improve service performance through data-driven insights, standardization and process optimization.
Enable enterprise alignment
• Build strong partnerships with People leadership, GBS functions, Market Areas and Business Areas to align People Services priorities with enterprise needs. • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to deliver integrated solutions that enhance employee and manager experience.
Lead and develop the organization
• Build and lead a high-performing global People Services organization with strong leadership capability and a culture of accountability and collaboration.• Develop talent and leadership capability within the organization while fostering innovation and continuous learning.
Shape the future operating model
• Anticipate future business needs and continuously evolve the People Services operating model to support Ericsson's transformation journey. • Contribute to the development of the GBS strategy and footprint, including cross-functional site strategy in partnership with People, GBS and business leaders.

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent; MBA is an advantage.
- Extensive leadership experience within global operations, shared services or Global Business Services environments.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end People lifecycle processes and People systems such as SuccessFactors.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale process transformation and operational improvements in a global environment.
- Ability to operate effectively across geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across senior leadership levels.
- Experience driving automation, digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
- Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement methodologies.
