Why this role is important to us

The Head of Financial Planning and Analysis will play a critical role in driving our financial strategy, operational performance, and strategic decision-making. You will be responsible for leading the FP&A function, partnering with senior leadership, and providing data-driven insights that support business growth and financial health. This is a unique opportunity for a strategic and analytical finance professional to make a significant impact on a fast-evolving organization. 

What you will be responsible for:

  • Financial Strategy & Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s financial planning process, including long-term strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

  • Management reporting: Responsible for monthly management reporting as well as board reporting. Take part of our journey of creating standardised reports and processes across the finance organization.

  • Performance Management: Take part of establishing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance, and deliver actionable recommendations to improve profitability and efficiency.

  • Business Partnering: Act as a strategic advisor to the C-suite and business leaders, providing financial insights that shape key decisions and organizational initiatives.

  • Forecasting & Scenario Analysis: Build sophisticated financial models to support scenario planning and risk analysis, and ensure data accuracy and consistency across the organization.

  • Operational Efficiency: Identify areas for cost optimization and process improvement, and implement best practices in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled FP&A team of 6 people, developing a collaborative and innovative work culture.

  • Data & Systems Management: Oversee financial systems and ensure data integrity; ensure continuous improvements in financial planning tools and processes.

What we value:

  • Education: Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years in progressive finance roles. Experience in the software industry is beneficial.

  • Technical Skills: Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills. Proficiency in financial tools such as Excel, PPT, Power BI, or other data visualization platforms.

  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and developing effective FP&A teams. Advanced communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.

  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think strategically while managing details. Strong business acumen and understanding of financial and operational interdependencies.

  • Problem-Solving: Advanced problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and delivering business value.
