Job Description
The Role in Brief:
The Head of FP&A will be responsible for all aspects of financial planning, analysis, reporting and performance management for the Group. This position requires exceptional analytical abilities, leadership skills and extensive experience driving global FP&A strategy and operations. This is an important role as we seek to strengthen our financial performance by improving processes, driving efficiency, and maintaining optimal control environments.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Lead the annual financial planning and budgeting process across all business units and international markets. Partner with finance teams globally to develop realistic budgets aligned with strategic growth plans.
- Manage and enhance the Tableau FP&A KPI reports so that the data is robust and insightful, with analytics that can drive decision-making across the Group
- Lead the development of long-range financial plans, across all divisions, business units and regions. Consolidate and analyse global FP&A outputs.
- Support Executive Leadership, Board and Lender reporting, including P&L, Cash flow, working capital reporting together with developing new ways of presenting insights. In addition, digitise the Board reporting.
- Partner with regional/functional finance teams to understand business dynamics and incorporate into financial reporting and projections. Provide guidance on assumptions, risks, opportunities.
- Develop and roll out standardized FP&A processes, analytics models, KPIs and reporting tools globally. Identify areas for improved efficiency through system enhancements, data integration and automation.
- Perform ongoing variance analysis, scenario planning, ad-hoc analyses to provide strategic insights to the executive leadership team. Clearly communicate financial results and trends.
- Drive strategy around capital allocation, investment prioritization, profitability improvement and growth initiatives in alignment with corporate objectives.
- Evaluate new technologies and continuously improve the FP&A function. Keep updated on accounting standards/regulations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Finance, IT, Business Units and Regions. Build and maintain strong working relationships.
- Recruit, develop and retain high-performing FP&A team members across regions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- Integration of new acquired entities into Group consolidation scope
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
In order to succeed in this role, you have:
- Qualified Accountant or equivalent with strong technical accounting skills preferred.
- Degree in Finance or Accounting from an accredited University
- 5+ years of FP&A experience with experience in global corporate leadership role.
- Excellent analytical skills and advanced proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence without authority.
- Advanced Finance modelling experience
- Experience working in a multinational environment collaborating with diverse teams.
- Willingness to travel internationally as required.
- High-level problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to conceptualize and implement effective processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize them efficiently, and meet strict deadlines.
- Experienced and comfortable working with multicultural teams and peers; ability, willingness, and enthusiasm to take on and execute projects autonomously and proactively; strong sense of ownership; internal customer-focused.
