We’re looking for an experienced Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with a strong background in the iGaming industry to lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis. This role will partner closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights, drive performance, and support informed business decisions across the organisation.

Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Forecasting:

  • Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans and forecasts, incorporating inputs from various departments.
  • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to support budgeting and
  • forecasting processes.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers and ensure accurate financial projections.
  • Drive the automation and continuous improvement of FP&A processes, leveraging technology to enhance reporting, forecasting, and business insights. 

Business Performance Analysis:

  • Work with stakeholders to define, measure, and report on KPIs related to gaming performance.
  • Provide actionable insights to support strategic decision-making and drive financial efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate various business scenarios.
  • Build models and perform statistical analysis to make predictions and informed data-based decision making.
  • Understand player behaviour to identify trends, preferences, and pain points.
  • Clearly communicate insights and recommendations derived from data analysis.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to establish realistic and achievable financial targets.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts, investigating variances and
  • proposing corrective actions as needed.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Oversee the collection, validation, and interpretation of financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management, highlighting key trends and performance metrics.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide insights that inform strategic decisions related to game development, marketing, and user acquisition.
  • Communicate financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess financial risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and their potential impact on
  • financial performance.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and completeness of data used for analysis.
  • Implement and maintain data quality standards and processes.

Requirements

Qualities we are looking for:

  • Strong senior-level FP&A experience within the iGaming industry — MUST.
  • Proven experience leading financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with excellent financial modelling and data analysis skills.
  • Deep understanding of iGaming KPIs, player behaviour, gaming performance, and commercial drivers.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally across Product, Marketing, Game Development, and User Acquisition.
  • Excellent understanding of data quality, reporting, financial controls, and risk management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence business decisions.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
