The Role
Are you a dynamic and experienced finance professional looking to make a significant impact in a fast-growing company? We are seeking a talented individual to join our team as a key player in our finance team. In this role, you will lead and develop our finance team, manage critical financial operations, and act as the right hand to our VP Finance. If you thrive in a high-energy environment and are ready to roll up your sleeves to drive both strategic and operational excellence, we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the day-to-day accounting, tax, financial reporting and FP&A operations, leading and developing the finance team and acting as 2IC to the VP Finance.
- Own the month-end close, including preparation of management accounts and board reporting, ensuring accurate and timely delivery, actionable insights and clear storytelling.
- Manage the year-end accounts, tax and audit process developing strong relationships with auditors.
- Produce filings and ensure compliance with all relevant tax regulations; VAT, PAYE, EMI, PSA, US Sales tax returns etc Managing the relationship with French tax advisors including employment tax, CT and VAT.
- Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A), including forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management, working closely with the VP Finance to build out FP&A tools (Mosaic & Maxio).
- Partnering effectively with internal teams on finance and strategy topics, ensuring that teams understand their performance, budgets and financial performance indicators.
- Manage the financial information resulting from our SAP Partnership. Liaising with internal and SAP stakeholders to ensure responsibilities of the agreement are met.
- Support the VP Finance on other Ad Hoc projects.
We'd really like to hear from you, if you...
- Qualified accountant with strong financial control and international reporting and tax experience. (specifically US and Europe). FP&A experience is also desirable.
- You are high energy and action orientated, willing to roll your sleeves up to get into the details as well as think big picture.
- Proven experience in a scale up SaaS environment is advantageous. Experience with Xero, Mosaic, Maxio is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, able to present complex financial information in a clear, simple way to non-finance stakeholders, telling a clear story.
- You have strong commercial awareness and business acumen, able to influence senior leadership with credibility and gravitas.
