Hi Marley is seeking an innovative and results-driven Head of Finance to shape our financial future. As a trusted advisor to the CFO and CEO, you’ll drive strategic planning and financial decision-making to fuel our growth. In this role, you’ll lead strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis, providing critical insights that influence our business direction. What You’ll Do:
- Strategic Planning: Drive annual budgeting and long-term financial planning, partnering with senior leadership to align budgets with Hi Marley’s goals.
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Collaborate with accounting to deliver timely monthly and quarterly reports for management and Board review.
- Performance Insight: Work closely with business leaders to identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) that drive financial success.
- Revenue Forecasting: Partner with Sales Operations to ensure revenue forecast accuracy, setting clear goals and maintaining forecast integrity.
- Business Forecasting: Analyze leading indicators to anticipate performance trends, providing actionable insights for strategic decisions.
- Investment Support: Prepare in-depth analysis to guide future investment opportunities.
- Executive Communication: Create compelling presentations for the leadership team, Board of Directors, and investors.
- Special Projects: Lead and contribute to impactful projects and ad hoc initiatives.
- Team Leadership: Build, develop, and inspire the FP&A team to support Hi Marley’s growth and success.
What We’re Looking For:
- 10+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or a related field with a strong progression of responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; Master’s degree or certification preferred.
- Experience in high-velocity public or VC/PE-backed companies; M&A or financing experience is a plus.
- Mastery of Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Slides; experience with databases, ERP systems, and Adaptive is beneficial.
- Skilled presenter with the ability to effectively communicate with all management levels, both verbally and in writing.
- Detail-oriented with a strategic mindset, capable of balancing big-picture goals with tactical execution.
- Approaches challenges with a can-do attitude, discretion, and adaptability.
- Energized by working in a fast-paced environment and motivated to drive company growth.
