Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all engineering, maintenance, industrial engineering, and technical operations across plant and head office to ensure operational efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure effective implementation of preventive and corrective maintenance systems to minimize downtime and improve equipment performance.
- Provide technical support to production teams for smooth execution of orders in line with quality standards and operational targets.
- Drive New Product Development (NPD), mockups, and technical execution in coordination with Design, R&D, Quality, and Production teams.
- Establish and enforce engineering policies, SOPs, and technical standards to ensure consistency, safety, and compliance.
- Review and approve engineering designs, technical changes, and non-standard costing related to materials, labor, and processes.
- Develop and manage vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring cost-effective sourcing and quality delivery.
- Lead resolution of technical issues, internal claims, and complaints by implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Drive technology advancement, automation, and ERP (e.g., SAP) integration to enhance productivity and data-driven decision-making.
- Lead, develop, and manage the engineering team by driving performance management, technical training, and capability building.
- Oversee capacity planning, line balancing, and manpower optimization to ensure alignment with production targets and business growth.
- Drive plant layout redesign and workflow optimization to improve throughput, reduce handling time, and maximize space utilization.
- Lead time and motion studies and develop standardized work practices to enhance productivity and consistency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical & Instrumentation); Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
- Minimum 10–12 years of relevant experience in engineering, maintenance, and technical operations within a manufacturing environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior leadership role managing engineering/maintenance & Industrial/Production role across plant or multi-site operations.
- Strong hands-on expertise in maintenance systems, production support, engineering design, and New Product Development (NPD).
- Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably SAP) along with exposure to automation, process improvement, and digital reporting tools.
- Proven experience in vendor development, contractor management, and driving cost optimization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and team leadership skills with the ability to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Skills Required
