The Head of Industrial Engineering & Operational Strategy will lead the development and execution of manufacturing optimization initiatives across the organization. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, productivity improvement, cost competitiveness, capacity planning, and strategic transformation projects. Partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, and Plant Leadership teams, this leader will shape the long-term operational strategy while ensuring world-class manufacturing performance.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Define and execute the Industrial Engineering and Operational Strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Lead productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Drive workforce optimization, labor standards, plant capacity planning, and resource utilization strategies.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, and Industry 4.0 initiatives to improve performance and competitiveness.
- Develop data-driven approaches for operational decision-making, KPI management, and performance optimization.
- Partner with plant leadership teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational scalability.
- Lead manufacturing footprint assessments, investment evaluations, and strategic operational projects.
- Build, develop, and mentor high-performing Industrial Engineering and Operations Excellence teams.
Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in Industrial Engineering, Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, or Manufacturing Strategy within complex manufacturing environments.
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping, Workforce Planning, and Productivity Improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated success leading large-scale operational transformation and cost optimization initiatives.
- Strong analytical, financial, and project management capabilities with a data-driven decision-making approach.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
- Advanced English proficiency required.
