At Ayvens we have an opening for an experienced Head of Engineering – Digital & IT Excellence.
What are you going to do?
As our new Head of Engineering – Digital & IT Excellence, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, service quality, reliability, compliance and operational risks across Ayvens’ transversal Digital & IT services. You will lead global engineering excellence teams and ensure that IT services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in alignment with group standards, while continuously improving performance and customer satisfaction.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading Digital & IT Excellence teams (onshore, offshore and outsourced managed services), including QA, Release Management, ITSM, Support, Helpdesk, Compliance & Operational Risks
Owning ITSM processes and tooling, including UNITY and Atlassian
Driving service quality, SLA performance, and operational efficiency across engineering teams
Ensuring operational risk management, audit readiness, and Level of Defense 1 (LOD1) control compliance
Defining and executing service delivery and service strategy to enhance quality, reliability, and client satisfaction
Establishing KPIs and performance metrics, monitoring results, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Managing vendors, key stakeholders, and the domain IT budget (RTB / CTB)
Ensuring alignment with SG Group ITSM practices and mandatory-to-use tools
Collaborating closely with IT, operations, and business stakeholders across geographies
Reporting on service performance, risks, and improvement initiatives to senior management
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has the leadership and interpersonal skills required to manage large, international teams and build strong relationships across multiple departments and locations. Aside from being a seasoned leader in IT operations and service delivery, you bring a strong quality and compliance mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
You will have relevant experience in a similar role, preferably holding a Master’s degree in IT or Engineering.
You bring 8+ years of experience in IT operations or engineering management.
Experience managing international teams (onshore & offshore) is required for any onshore candidate.
Proven experience with ITSM frameworks, processes, and tools is essential.
Demonstrated experience with budget responsibility (RTB / CTB) is expected.
Proven experience leading large-scale IT operations or engineering excellence teams in an international environment
Strong background in IT service management, operational excellence, and service delivery (experience within SG environments is a plus)
Excellent people management and leadership capabilities, with experience managing managers and diverse teams
Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels
Solid experience in performance management, SLA governance, and KPI-driven improvement
Strong understanding of operational risk, audit requirements, and compliance frameworks
Strategic mindset combined with a hands-on, results-driven approach
Fluent in English
