How you will make an impact
- Manages all Divisional Underwriting for AIG’s South region, with national scope for Oil & Petrochemicals (Downstream), and North America scope for the Upstream line. Establishes, implements, and evaluates production and profitability goals.
- Direct accountability for the business results for the South region and the Upstream line with respect to profitability, penetration and/or volume.
- Responsible for developing strategic client and broker relationships.
- Represents AIG at industry events and seeks opportunities for speaking engagements to further AIG’s reputation in the Energy and Upstream/Downstream space.
- In partnership with the Global Product Line Executives for O&P and Upstream, drive and execute the long-term business strategy for the US.
- Serve as a technical expert, exercising technical authority with regards to the Downstream and Upstream lines within NA Energy.
- Oversee multiple managers and senior underwriters; makes decisions regarding pay, performance management, development, employment, and staffing.
