To succeed in this role, you'll need to be customer-obsessed, with a deep understanding of their needs and pain points. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and launch digital banking products and services that meet those needs. You'll also need to stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in digital banking.
What you do

1. Digital Strategy, Roadmap & Growth

  • Define and execute the digital business strategy for Macau, ensuring alignment with overall group and OCBC HK digital objectives.

  • Own and drive the digital banking roadmap, prioritizing in-country initiatives that enhances customer experience, business outcomes, regulatory compliance and support regional initiatives executed by regional tribes

  • Partner with business owners to drive digital customer acquisition, engagement, and monetization through data-driven strategies and innovation

  • Co-own key digital KPIs, including digital acquisition, engagement, and revenue contribution.

2. Business-as-Usual (BAU) Excellence & Incident Management

  • Ensure smooth operations of digital banking channels, with a focus on uptime, stability, and performance.

  • Lead incident response and resolution for any digital disruptions, collaborating closely with technology, operations, and customer service teams.

  • Define and implement proactive monitoring, issue escalation, and risk mitigation strategies to maintain platform reliability.

  • Partner with relevant parties to communicate digital service status, major incidents, and resolutions to key stakeholders, ensuring transparency and trust with partners.

3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all digital products, features, and operations comply with Macau’s regulatory requirements and industry standards.

  • Work closely with compliance, legal, and risk teams to embed regulatory considerations into digital product development, customer journeys, and operational processes.

  • Stay updated on evolving digital banking regulations and proactively implement necessary changes to maintain compliance.

  • Support discussions with regulators on digital banking initiatives, demonstrating the bank’s commitment to security, transparency, and customer protection.

4. Digital Product & Experience Leadership

  • Oversee the development and enhancement of digital banking products to deliver best-in-class customer experiences.

  • Optimize digital journeys across mobile and web channels, ensuring seamless and intuitive user experiences.

  • Leverage analytics, customer insights, and experimentation to refine digital offerings and enhance engagement.

5. Go-to-Market & Execution Excellence

  • Work closely with marketing, data, and sales teams to drive go-to-market execution for digital products and campaigns.

  • Optimize digital acquisition funnels and conversion rates through UX, content, and engagement strategies.

  • Implement analytics and reporting frameworks to measure success and iterate rapidly.

6. Cross-functional & Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Partner with business heads, technology teams, compliance, and operations to ensure smooth delivery of digital initiatives.

  • Represent the digital business in leadership forums, regulatory discussions, and industry events.

  • Drive alignment with technology teams to prioritize platform stability, security, and scalability.

7. Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing digital team.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, agility, regulatory awareness, and customer-centricity.

  • Attract, retain, and develop top digital talent to drive the business forward.

8. P&L and Budget Management  

  • Manage channel development budget and channel revenue generation to meet business and channel P&L.

  • Work with finance teams to track digital business financials and ensure budget efficiency.

Who you are

  • 10+ years of experience in digital banking, fintech, or technology-driven financial services.

  • Proven track record of leading digital business, product management, or digital transformation.

  • Strong understanding of digital acquisition, customer experience, and digital product development.

  • Experience in managing BAU digital operations, incident resolution, and platform stability.

  • Deep knowledge of Macau’s digital banking regulatory landscape and compliance requirements.

  • Experience working with regulators and embedding compliance into digital initiatives.

  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in analytics, growth strategies, and customer insights.

  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills in a complex, matrixed environment.
