WHY YOU SHOULD APPLYThis is an executive level role where you will fundamentally shape the experience of our 25 million users by driving design for Yousician & GuitarTuna. You will work hand-in-hand with the executive team and take direct responsibility for the look and feel of our product moving forward. WHAT YOU'LL DO- Inspire, drive, and articulate a differentiated short-term and long-term vision for design, brand, and interaction language - backed by rationale, insights, and research.
- Be a strong collaborator across leadership in Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering.
- Lead, mentor and grow our talented design team; from implementing design thinking and critiques to modeling effective communication and collaboration.
- Champion execution excellence across the product, understanding the health, performance, and key findings of features driven by design.
- Look for ways to innovate with simplicity across our user experience and product offering for Mobile apps and Web.
- Demonstrated experience with end-to-end product design (user research, interaction design, visual design).
- You see the big picture but still have the ability and interest to roll up your sleeves and do hands-on design work.
- Strong leader of people, and successful track record of team development and recruiting.
- 7+ years of experience working and shipping products/features collaboratively with Product Management, Marketing, and Engineering.
- 3+ years of management experience with direct reports under your guidance and leadership.

Your own instrument
We also have our own stage at our Helsinki office. We also have a double bass, electric and acoustic guitars, a baby grand piano, digital pianos, mixers, microphones, drums, you name it! We have jam sessions after work on Fridays (when it’s safe to do so).
A recording studio
In Helsinki, we have our own recording studio–which you are free to use for your own projects. We love music and encourage everyone to play their favorite songs.
