About the Role:
Head of Country HR - India will lead and drive the People Strategy, HR Operations, Employer Branding & Work Place Management in alignment with our company’s vision and business goals. This role requires deep expertise in HR operations and a strong understanding of the ride-hailing industry in India.
You will work closely with senior leadership in respective countries to shape and implement people strategies that foster a high-performance culture and support our business objectives while following guidance from Group CHRO.
What you will do:
- Develop and execute the people strategy aligned with business goals and organizational values and align with market practice in India.
- Partner with senior leadership to identify and address people-related challenges and opportunities.
- Guided by the Group People Strategy and implementing that in a suitable way in the market.
- Act as a trusted advisor and support for employees and managers, addressing and resolving complex employee relations issues, office management, development needs, and employee engagement.
- Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making and measure the effectiveness of people initiatives.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD) is preferred.
- Minimum of 14+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 8 years in a leadership role in Asia with a deep understanding of cross culture in each country.
- Deep understanding of the Indian labor market and employment laws.
- Good knowledge and understanding of office management.
- Proven track record in developing and executing HR policies that drive employee engagement.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Having some project management/planning and organizing experience would be helpful.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
