New internal opportunity has become available in Bogota as Controlling Operations Hub Head for the Bogota Hub. In this role you will implement and manage the Controlling Operations services for Sanofi in line with the global Controlling core model. With a direct team of five, you will be leading the Controlling Service Lines (Transversal, GBU, M&S and R&D) with a total of 100+ FTEs. As Controlling Operations Hub Head, you will deliver daily services and ensuring business continuity, as well as contributing to the process standardization and implementation of transformation projects for the Controlling organization.

The Controlling Operations Bogota Hub Head will be reporting to the Global Head of Controlling Operations Delivery and will be part of the Controlling Operations Leadership Team.
Additional this role will be part of Bogota Hub Leadership Team, ensuring transversality and contributing to the overall development of the centre.
Main responsibilities:
Service Delivery:
- Accountable for the efficient, high quality and compliant delivery of services related to the budgeting and forecasting, closing and reporting sales/gross to net and/or operating expenses for all Sanofi Operational Units (R&D, Commercial and Manufacturing & Supply)
- Ensure that this end-to-end service is delivered in a highly efficient, cost-effective, high quality and agile way, in alignment with the Controlling Operations Core Model, to meet internal customer satisfaction and achieve strategic KPI targets
- Create a performance culture of cooperation, inclusiveness, collaboration and teamwork across Controlling Operations Service Lines in the Hub and with the Finance teams in the countries and ensure a smooth interface & communication to the relevant stakeholders of the businesses.
- In close cooperation with the GPO organization, leading continuous improvement identification and implementation
- Ensure Compliance and Internal Control/ SOX standards are met. Perform necessary controls and act as a role model, in line with all ethical & compliance rules of the Group
Transformation Management:
- Contribute to the implementation of the Transformational Projects led by the Controlling Operations GPO organization to deliver innovative, best in class ContOps solutions, within the Controlling Operations Core Model
- Continuously challenge legacy ways of working, status quo; identify gaps, and recommend new ways of working
- Ensure outside in perspective are incorporated in continuous improvement actions
People and Task Management:
- Setup and drive a culture of continuous improvement based on company’s P2W values
- Setup one team spirit independent of reporting lines
- Ensure proper implementation as per core model and RACI of the ContOps Hub organization
- Manage and arbitrate planning and priorities of across teams
- Drive the culture of performance and best in class service for the organization
- Oversee the built of a career path and ensure talent development of the Service Delivery Hub members
Stakeholder Management and Communication Role:
- Support Regional and Local stakeholders, including but not limited to M&S, CFO and FBPs, ContOps service management teams, and other relevant stakeholders and act as the representative of the service delivery team
- Attend and contribute to the functional and coordination meetings
- Monitor Hub Service Delivery to ensure compliance with Group calendar
- Other ad hoc projects within Hub team
- Represent Sanofi in external events when relevant
About you
- Strong experience of service delivery and leadership in finance controlling in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment
- Strategic thinking, communication, influencing, business acumen, sense of priorities
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
- Proven experience working across multiple internal stakeholders
- Technology savvy, business orientation, and agile learning abilities required
- Capable of working in multiple systems and tools
- Solid grasp of evolving Sanofi technology platforms, processes, and controls including SAGA
- Oral and written fluency in English
- Spanish a plus
