What’s the opportunity?
As the Head of the Content Team at Marketing, you will have the unique opportunity to lead and elevate an existing team to the next level. Success in this position means driving impactful content strategies that encompass various marketing channels, from press releases to events, whitepapers, and blog posts, with a primary focus on emerging markets. This role is pivotal in enhancing dLocal's brand presence and engagement across diverse audiences. By spearheading content initiatives, you'll contribute significantly to the company's growth trajectory, solidifying its position as a leader in payments within emerging economies.
What will I be doing?
- Lead and mentor the Content Team to develop and execute comprehensive content strategies aligned with dLocal's marketing objectives.
- Oversee the creation and dissemination of various content types, including press releases, event materials, whitepapers, blog posts, and other marketing collateral.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with teams such as Product, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure content aligns with business goals and effectively supports their initiatives.
- Conduct market research and stay abreast of industry trends to inform content creation, ensuring relevance and resonance with target audiences in emerging markets.
- Manage content calendars, workflows, and production timelines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials.
- Analyze content performance metrics and derive actionable insights to optimize strategies and enhance engagement.
- Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring consistency and alignment of messaging across all content touchpoints.
- Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry standards related to content creation and dissemination, ensuring compliance in all materials.
- Represent dLocal at industry events and conferences, leveraging opportunities to showcase thought leadership through compelling content presentations.

What skills do I need?
- Senior-level experience in leading and mentoring teams.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing content strategies.
- 8+ years of relative work experience
- Ability to effectively manage and prioritize tasks within a team.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to think strategically and leverage data-driven insights.
- Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in content marketing preferred, payments industry knowledge a plus.
