HEAD OF CONNECTIVITY

The Head of Connectivity & Digital Platforms will own and scale Electrolux Professional’s global connected ecosystem, including OnE Connected and associated digital platforms. This role is responsible for defining the end‑to‑end vision, architecture, and roadmap for connectivity, IoT, cloud platforms, and digital services across Electrolux Professional’s Food, Beverage, and Laundry solutions, ensuring measurable customer value, recurring revenue growth, and competitive differentiation.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Strategy & Leadership

  • Define and own the global connectivity and digital platform strategy, aligned with Electrolux Professional’s growth pillars: innovation, digitalization, sustainability, and service expansion 
  • Establish a long‑term roadmap for connected appliances, cloud platforms, digital services, and data monetization across product lines.
  • Act as executive sponsor for OnE Connected, Electrolux Professional’s all‑in‑one digital ecosystem for connected equipment and workflows.
  • Lead cross‑functional alignment across Product Management, R&D, Service, IT, Information security, Cybersecurity, Sales, and Operations.

Platform & Ecosystem Ownership

  • Own end‑to‑end accountability for digital platforms including:
    • Device connectivity and IoT architecture
    • Cloud platforms, APIs, data pipelines, and analytics
    • Partner, distributor, and customer portals
  • Ensure platforms are secure, scalable, GDPR‑compliant, and cloud‑native, supporting enterprise‑scale deployments across global customers.
  • Drive platform reuse and standardization across Food, Beverage, and Laundry portfolios.

Customer Value & Business Outcomes

  • Translate connectivity into tangible customer outcomes: improved uptime, efficiency, sustainability, food safety, hygiene compliance, and total cost of ownership reduction.
  • Enable new digital business models (e.g., subscription services, data‑driven services, service‑as‑a‑solution).
  • Partner with Commercial and Service teams to drive adoption, engagement, and monetization of digital solutions.

Technology & Architecture Governance

  • Define enterprise‑level reference architectures for IoT, cloud, edge, data, AI, Information security and cybersecurity.
  • Govern technology choices, ensuring interoperability across connected equipment and future acquisitions.
  • Ensure alignment with Electrolux Professional’s broader digital platform and partner ecosystems

Innovation & External Ecosystem

  • Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers, IoT platforms, technology vendors, and startups.
  • Track emerging trends in Industrial IoT, AI, sustainability analytics, and digital services relevant to professional foodservice and laundry industries.
  • Support M&A integration from a digital and connectivity perspective.

People & Organizational Leadership

  • Build and lead a multi‑disciplinary, international team spanning product, engineering, platform, and data.
  • Foster a product‑led, agile, and customer‑obsessed culture.
  • Develop internal capabilities and talent succession in connectivity and digital platforms.

WHAT’S NEEDED FOR YOU TO THRIVE

Experience

  • 12–18+ years of experience in digital platforms, IoT, connected products, or large‑scale cloud ecosystems, preferably in industrial, appliance, equipment, or B2B environments.
  • Proven executive‑level ownership of connected platforms used by thousands of customers and devices.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling IoT / digital ecosystems from pilot to global adoption.
  • Experience translating platforms into commercial value and recurring revenues.
  • International leadership experience within complex, matrix organizations.
  • Fluent English; other languages will be considered a plus

Technical & Domain Expertise

  • Strong understanding of:
    • IoT and device connectivity architectures
    • Cloud platforms and data architectures
    • APIs, microservices, and integration patterns
    • Cybersecurity and GDPR requirements
  • Experience with digital service platforms, analytics, and customer portals.
