Lead and execute the Business Banking commercial strategy to achieve sales and profitability targets across segments. Drive lending, deposits and fee-income growth, manage asset quality, oversee marketing and cross-sell initiatives, and ensure regulatory and risk compliance. Build and lead regional commercial and wealth management teams, collaborate with banking partners and internal functions to realize business plans, and maintain strong customer relationships and market presence.

- Develop and execute strategic business plan to achieve Business Banking objectives and sales target, covering all segments within Business Banking, including borrowing, and non-borrowing customers.
- Drive revenue growth and manage profitability for Business Banking segment across the region.
- Drive the marketing activities of Business Banking full suite of products and services to achieve the target for interest and fee-based income. This includes Lending, Deposits, and fee-based income products and cross-sell.
- Ensure excellent customer service by proactively identifying business opportunities, build customer relationship and expand market reach.
- Responsible for the Asset Quality Management for the region.
- Develop and lead the Area Commercial Managers and sales team, as well as the Business Wealth Management team for Business Banking to ensure effective coordination and drive cross-selling activities.
- Collaborate with key business partners, such as Consumer Banking, Treasury, Transaction Banking, Islamic Banking to drive business synergy with the end goal of realising Business Banking’s strategy and business plans.
- Collaborate with strategic partners to drive shared goals/outcomes, such as CIMB Banca partners (Sompo, Sunlife), Principal, etc.
- Keep abreast of regulatory changes and practices for managing and mitigating business risks and people issues.

Ensure all staff adheres to all internal as well as external policies and regulations such as credit guidelines, risk policies, audit and statutory compliance and regulations.
- Job requirements: -
- Minimum 10 years of experience in managing Business Banking sales portfolio in financial institutions
- Proven track record of leading and managing sales force preferably in Business Banking segment
- Strong leadership qualities and people management abilities.
- Strong credit and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills to be able to influence and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Motivated, self-driven individual with strong commitment to integrity, professionalism and teamwork
- Good network in the banking industry
- Able to build strong culture of service excellence.
