Role Overview
PIMCO is pioneering the next-generation Client Reporting Platform—a cutting-edge, cloud-native, AI-first solution designed to transform how our clients experience and analyze their investments and portfolio performance. As the Head of Product for Client Reporting, your role will be to work with Account Managers, Fund Product Teams, and Portfolio Management Teams to understand client needs, to deliver an enterprise‑scale reporting experience. This is a multi‑year strategic initiative requiring both visionary leadership and hands‑on product execution.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Define the Vision

    • Establish the product vision, strategy, and multi‑year roadmap for a scalable, secure, and modern global reporting platform.

    • Drive alignment across business, technology, and operations to deliver an integrated, seamless reporting user experience.

  • Lead Cross‑Functional Collaboration

    • Partner with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Designers, Data Engineers, Business Analysts, and client‑facing teams to translate requirements into actionable platform capabilities.

    • Ensure stakeholder expectations, timelines, and deliveries are aligned across the organization.

  • Champion AI, Automation & Modernization: 

    • Identify and prioritize opportunities to embed AI, intelligent workflows, and automation throughout the reporting lifecycle.

    • Promote an AI‑first philosophy to enhance data quality, reporting accuracy, user experience, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years in senior or principal Product leadership roles.

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Management, Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification or experience.

  • Deep understanding of client reporting and the asset management industry, including performance and transaction reporting, portfolio analytics, and performance attribution.

  • A pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset for integrating AI capabilities into client-facing platforms.

PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.


Salary Range: $ 250,000.00 - $ 305,000.00
