Head of Client Lifecycle Management Middle Office (CIB and CB) for India & Philippines, Business Execution Executive
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Head of Client Lifecycle Management in Middle Office for Invesment and Commercial Banking in India & Philippines, Business Execution Executive.
Summary: Client Lifecycle Management, “CLM”, supports the end-to-end client journey, from pre-onboarding activities through onboarding, product fulfillment, and ongoing servicing of day-to-day customer requirements. The CLM Middle Office is a new team that is being created to support relationship team members in Corporate & Investment Banking and Commercial Banking with end-to-end duties associated with the client lifecycle. Duties may include handling client account and/or product issues, partnering with internal teams to resolve ad-hoc client inquiries, performing a variety of bulk maintenance updates, remediations, facilitating customer offboarding, and other associated tasks to ensure client and internal requirements are met.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and develop two or more specialized teams of managers and professional individual contributors within the relationship support function for a large regional banking office or multiple offices with moderate to high complexity and risk
- Lead the build of a Middle Office responsible for supporting the ongoing needs of Corporate & Investment Banking’ and Commercial Banking’s established relationships
- Participate in the identification and maximization of growth opportunities and on-site calls with Relationship Managers
- Identify opportunities and strategies for process improvement and risk control development
- Oversee customer operations, which may include initiation and accuracy of loan documentation
- Oversee a compliance monitoring program and evaluate the results, ensuring achievement of a satisfactory rating on all audits, working with business management to resolve issues, and addressing deficiencies
- Lead Business Relationship Support team by making strategic decisions to resolve highly complex issues to meet higher risk deliverables
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures to effectively interact and negotiate with management, teams, and customers
- Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals, including more experienced managers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Business Relationship Support
- Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Business Relationship Support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in client relationship management, specifically with Capital Markets, Corporate & Investment Banking, and Commercial Banking
- 4+ years of experience in managing teams located in other geographies (global)
- Experience managing teams with 100+ employees and responsible for annual reviews, hiring and staffing initiatives with a track record of building and optimizing teams –
- Able to articulate a clear vision for the team, inspire and motivate employees, guide employees through periods of change, and create a sense of ownership and accountability
- Experience developing, enhancing and standardizing Global processes and framework for Middle Office procedures.
- Experience developing risk process and procedures and initiatives in RCSA. Deep knowledge of regulatory risk and compliance for Corporate and Investment Banking and Commercial Banking.
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization along with excellent communication with Senior and Executive level partners globally.
- Knowledge and understanding of treasury management and/or other relevant corporate banking products
- Proven client-centric approach and ability to build and maintain successful relationships with key internal partners
- Change management or project management experience is preferred.
Job Expectations:
The Head of Client Lifecycle Management Middle Office is a new position for Client Lifecyle Management. The incumbent will lead a newly formed team of managers and individual contributors focused on providing support to relationship team members in meeting the day-to-day requirements of Corporate & Investment Banking and Commercial Banking clients while continuing to optimize the way we deliver the firm to them.
