We are seeking a visionary Head of Automation to take ownership of our quality strategy, lead testing efforts across the organization, and build a robust automation framework that supports our continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Cultural Shift: Champion a "quality-first" mentality across all product and engineering teams, advocating for testability from the initial design phase.
- Strategic Test Planning: Translate complex fintech product features and business values into detailed, actionable, and scalable automation testing plans.
- Agile Integration: Embed QA seamlessly into our Agile software development lifecycle (SDLC), optimizing our CI/CD pipelines for rapid, reliable releases.
- Domain-Driven Testing: Leverage your deep understanding of the FX market to anticipate edge cases, designing test scenarios that reflect real-world trading behaviors.
- Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing team of automation engineers while selecting the best tools and frameworks for our technology stack.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Development, Support, and Business teams
- Introduce innovative tools and AI-driven approaches to improve QA efficiency
- 7+ years of experience in Automation testing
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record in a QA/Automation leadership role specifically within the Fintech, FX, or capital markets industry.
- Product Acumen: Deep understanding of trading technology products, market mechanics, and how to validate financial software at scale.
- Technical Mastery: Extensive experience designing automation frameworks from scratch and a strong grasp of modern development lifecycles.
- Agile Veteran: Highly experienced operating within Agile/Scrum environments, with a clear vision of how QA fits into continuous delivery.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to translate technical constraints to business stakeholders and business requirements to engineering teams
Skills Required
- 7+ years of experience in automation testing
- QA or automation leadership experience in fintech, FX, or capital markets
- Deep understanding of trading technology products, market mechanics, and financial software validation
- Extensive experience designing automation frameworks from scratch
- Strong understanding of modern software development lifecycles
- Extensive experience in Agile/Scrum environments and continuous delivery
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical constraints and business requirements
