Head of Automation and Robotics

The Head of Automation and Robotics is responsible for leading and optimizing automation and robotics initiatives across the organization. This role focuses on the design, implementation, and management of robotic process automation (RPA) and artificial intelligence (AI) solutions to drive digital transformation. The Head of Automation and Robotics will work closely with leadership and Global Process Transformation team to develop the strategies & capabilities required to deliver IFF’s strategic business outcomes.

Main Duties:

· Establish & Manage Automation and Robotics Roadmap:

• Develop and manage the roadmap for automation and robotics initiatives, including all associated end-to-end processes.
• Define and communicate a clear vision for how automation and robotics activities deliver key business objectives.

· Strategy Development and Implementation:

• Develop and translate the automation and robotics strategy into operational objectives and deliverables.
• Monitor and report the business impact of automation and robotics activities, tracking against business KPIs.

· Drive Transformation Improvements:

• Lead transformation initiatives with cross-functional teams including operations, IT, business stakeholders, and aligning with teams impacted by the transformation changes.
• Manage project teams including internal team members and external providers to deliver process change and improvements.

· Technical and Change Management:

• Ensure that both the technical and change-management aspects of automation and robotics initiatives are successfully implemented.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the team.

· Team Leadership and Development:

• Build and lead a team of RPA developers, MS O365 and AI experts, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.

· Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Collaborate with business units, corporate functions, data owners/stewards, and service delivery teams to ensure consistency and alignment across policy, process, and data.
• Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in automation and robotics, with a proven track record in delivering transformational change projects.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work across cultures and diverse management styles.
