As Head of apprenticeships, you shape the long-term development of our apprenticeship programs and make a significant contribution to securing the future demand for skilled professionals and specialists. Together with your team, you continuously develop our apprenticeship organization, ensure its quality and future readiness, and create the foundation for future generations of talent to succeed.
Role and responsibilities
As a Head of apprenticeships, you will:
- lead and develop the apprenticeship team, including disciplinary responsibility as well as annual performance, development, and feedback discussions.
- further develop the strategic direction of apprenticeship programs and help shape long-term goals and priorities together with internal and external stakeholders.
- ensure the successful execution of the entire apprenticeship lifecycle, challenge existing concepts and ways of working, and drive continuous improvements.
- manage and continuously improve the quality, efficiency, and performance of apprenticeship programs based on relevant performance indicators.
- initiate, prioritize, and drive technological and strategic topics and projects within the apprenticeship organization.
- plan and manage resources, investments, and capacities.
- plan, coordinate and deliver workshops, training sessions, and communication activities.
- foster trusted collaboration with management, business functions, HR, works councils and apprentice representatives while ensuring employee participation rights in apprenticeship-related matters.
Education and experience
- University degree in a relevant field or a comparable qualification.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing environments as well as managing projects and cross-functional initiatives.
- Several years of leadership experience with responsibility for teams and the achievement of organizational and strategic objectives.
- Several years of experience in apprenticeship, training, or learning environments as well as in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of related programs.
- Strong knowledge of relevant educational, legal, and employment-related frameworks.
- Experience collaborating with leaders, employee representative bodies, and a variety of internal stakeholder groups.
- Very good German and good English language skills.

Deine Aufgaben
Als Ausbildungsleiter:in wirst du:
- das Ausbilderteam fachlich und disziplinarisch führen, weiterentwickeln sowie jährliche Zielvereinbarungs-, Entwicklungs- und Feedbackgespräche verantworten.
- die strategische Ausrichtung der Ausbildung weiterentwickeln und gemeinsam mit internen und externen Stakeholdern langfristige Ziele und Schwerpunkte mitgestalten.
- die erfolgreiche Umsetzung des gesamten Ausbildungszyklus sicherstellen, bestehende Konzepte und Vorgehensweisen hinterfragen sowie kontinuierlich Verbesserungen ableiten und umsetzen.
- die Qualität, Effizienz und Performance der Ausbildungsprogramme anhand geeigneter Kennzahlen steuern und nachhaltig weiterentwickeln.
- technologische und strategische Themen und Projekte innerhalb der Ausbildung initiieren, priorisieren und erfolgreich vorantreiben.
- Ressourcen, Investitionen und Kapazitäten planen und steuern.
- Workshops, Trainings und Kommunikationsmaßnahmen planen, koordinieren und durchführen.

Deine Qualifikation
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium in einem relevanten Fachgebiet oder eine vergleichbare Qualifikation.
- Erfahrung in industriellen Produktionsumgebungen sowie im Management von Projekten und bereichsübergreifenden Initiativen.
- Mehrjährige Führungserfahrung mit Verantwortung für Teams sowie die Erreichung organisatorischer und strategischer Ziele.
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung in einem Ausbildungs- oder Trainingsumfeld, sowie in der Entwicklung, Umsetzung und Weiterentwicklung entsprechender Programme.
- Fundierte Kenntnisse relevanter gesetzlicher und arbeitsrechtlicher Rahmenbedingungen
- Erfahrung in der Zusammenarbeit mit Führungskräften, Arbeitnehmervertretungen sowie unterschiedlichen internen Stakeholdergruppen.
- Sehr gute Deutsch- und gute Englischkenntnisse.
