Overview
The Head of Americas Channel Sales is responsible for leading and growing our network of Partner Managers across the United States, Canada, and Latin America. This role is pivotal in expanding Atlassian's reach and influence by building and nurturing a robust portfolio of consulting, services, and sales partners. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing indirect sales channels and driving business growth through strategic partnerships.
To help our teams work together effectively, this role is a remote position and requires you to be located in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Development: Lead a team of Partner Managers, fostering a high-performance culture to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive channel strategy to expand Atlassian's market presence and drive revenue growth in the Americas.
  • Partnership Growth: Identify, recruit, and develop strategic partners to enhance our go-to-market capabilities and customer reach.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including partner programs, enablement, marketing, and direct sales, to ensure alignment and cohesion in channel initiatives.
  • Pipeline Management: Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities sourced through channel partners are effectively managed and converted.
  • Market Development: Allocate and manage Marketing Development Funds to support channel marketing objectives and activities.
  • Gap Analysis: Conduct regional and solution coverage gap analyses to focus recruitment and development efforts.
  • Mentorship: Guide and mentor partners in scaling their business in alignment with Atlassian's business model.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with partners to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and engagement with Atlassian products.

  • 10+ years of experience developing value-added resellers, system integrators, and services related channel business in the enterprise software industry
  • Experience leading a team of managers
  • Highly knowledgeable about the Americas region and the business metrics of relevant markets
  • Demonstrated channel and sales leadership
  • Experience successfully performing against sales targets
  • Experience sponsoring the identification and recruitment of system integrator / consulting firms and technology partners worldwide


Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable, explainable, and competitive compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience. In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $231,800 - $309,000
Zone B: $208,600 - $278,100
Zone C: $192,400 - $256,500
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
