About the Role:
As the Head of AI, you are the visionary architect of Nanit’s intelligence engine. You won't just be managing a team; you will be defining the frontier of what is possible in pediatric health and parental support.

Leveraging one of the world’s largest and most unique datasets of infant behavior, you will transform raw data into life-changing insights that empower millions of parents. Your mission is to bridge the gap between ambitious research and real-world impact, identifying how advanced AI can solve the most complex challenges in child development.

While you will lead a world-class team of researchers and algorithm engineers to develop core intelligence, you will partner with Engineering to provide high-performance models that can be seamlessly integrated into the mission-critical systems that define the Nanit experience.

What You’ll Bring

• Visionary Leadership: 7+ years of experience building and scaling high-impact AI research teams, including a proven track record of managing and mentoring Team Leads.
• Strategic Execution: A proven track record of translating complex business goals into successful technical research and AI roadmaps.
• Architectural Mastery: Deep expertise in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and end-to-end AI system design.
• Engineering Fluency: Strong software foundation (Python, C++) and experience building ML pipelines that bridge the gap between research and production.
• Startup Agility: The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments, leading the development of algorithms intended for global-scale deployment.
• Academic Foundation: An M.Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
