Lead the development and implementation of Bupa’s Responsible AI Framework, embedding ethical principles and best practices into our AI strategy.
Chair the High-Risk AI Committee, overseeing the assessment and management of high-risk AI projects.
Design and implement risk management strategies for AI activities, ensuring alignment with Bupa’s broader risk frameworks.
Monitor and respond to regulatory developments, including GDPR, the EU AI Act, and other emerging standards.
Establish and regularly review ethical guidelines for AI development and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data governance managers and AI specialists, to ensure consistent and responsible AI practices across the business.
Develop scalable tools, processes and methodologies to support the growth of AI capabilities while maintaining strong governance.
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about responsible innovation and ready to lead from the front. You’ll bring:
Proven experience in AI governance, risk management, and ethical AI practices.
A strong understanding of AI technologies, frameworks, and the evolving regulatory landscape.
Excellent communication and leadership skills – you’ll be confident engaging with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.
Experience developing and implementing governance frameworks and policies.
A collaborative mindset and the ability to influence across a complex organisation.
A commitment to doing the right thing – for our customers, our people, and the wider world.
