Workday AMS Lead Consultant – Advanced CompensationJoin Kainos in Argentina 🇦🇷
Are you a Workday Compensation expert who enjoys solving complex problems and making a real difference for customers after go-live? At Kainos, we help organisations get the most out of their Workday investment—and we’re looking for an experienced HCM Consultant to join our AMS team as a Lead Consultant in Advanced Compensation.
This is a great opportunity to work closely with clients, shape solutions, and mentor others, all while being part of a collaborative, people-first team.
What You’ll DoAct as a Lead Consultant for Advanced Compensation within our AMS practice.
Deliver high-quality configuration, testing, and ongoing enhancements, applying Workday best practices throughout.
Think holistically about dependencies, cross-stream impacts, and long-term maintainability, guiding clients on what and how to test.
Proactively gather complex requirements, understand the HR use cases behind them, and translate those needs into effective Workday solutions.
Troubleshoot and solve challenging issues, bringing creative and well-thought-out approaches to complex scenarios.
Build strong, trusted relationships with clients while balancing multiple priorities across different customers.
Set clear timelines and estimates, and drive work through to timely completion.
Make thoughtful, proactive suggestions to improve configuration and enhance the overall Workday user experience.
Support and mentor junior consultants, sharing best practice on configuration, requirement gathering, and delivery approaches.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives—helping us refine how we work internally and how we support our customers.
Workday certification in Advanced Compensation.
At least 3 years of hands-on configuration experience in Advanced Compensation.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a post-deployment / AMS setting.
Strong overall understanding of Compensation processes and touchpoints (experience in Core Compensation is a plus).
Confidence working directly with clients, managing expectations, and communicating clearly and effectively.
A collaborative mindset and passion for improving processes and ways of working.
Additional Workday certifications.
Experience with estimating and scoping work.
Background in a client-side Compensation role.
Experience participating in or supporting client-side Workday implementations.
Work with global clients and complex, interesting Workday environments.
