Own system-level IO requirements, specification, and interface definition by partnering directly with NVIDIA and partners. Lead technical alignment, documentation, and partner support for USB, PCIe, display, and wireless interfaces to enable next-generation platform design and excellence in execution. Drive validation, tuning, and OEM support for all high-speed IO (USB-C/USB4, PCIe, HDMI, DP, WiFi, Audio, Camera) and LPDDR5X memory. Provide technical expertise in board bring-up, troubleshooting, and customer-facing documentation to ensure robust system integration and performance.
What you’ll be doing:
Serve as the primary technical interface with OEM and SoC design team for all high-speed IOs system design requirements, specifications and validation for new platforms.
Own LPDDR5X memory support, including initial tuning, validation process, failure analysis, debugging, and system parametric optimization for OEM platforms.
Own all system-level support for high-speed IO: USB-C/USB4, PCIe, eDP, DP, HDMI, WiFi, Audio, Camera interfaces and USB-C charging across multiple platforms.
Lead IO design reviews, tuning and optimization, and debugging for partners; provide expert-level guidance on board bring-up, tuning, and risk mitigation.
Drive procedure development and hands-on validation for IO signal integrity, compliance, and interoperability (USB4, PCIe Gen4/Gen5, HDMI 2.x, DP, WiFi 6/7, etc.).
Support OEM customers with fast triage and deep-dive root cause analysis for any IO-related technical issues, escalations, or system integration blockers.
Collaborate closely with silicon architecture, validation, system integration, and external partners to deliver robust, high-performance hardware solutions.
What we need to see:
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong background in system‑level hardware design (SoC, GPU/CPU, power, high‑speed interfaces).
3+ years’ experience supporting high-speed IO (USB-C/USB4, PCIe, HDMI, DP, WiFi, Audio, Camera) in hardware/system roles
Solid understanding of electrical and thermal requirements for high‑power SoC/GPU/CPU systems.
Excellent communication skills and proven experience working with external partners (OEM/ODM or silicon partners).
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
3+ experiences on Notebook design, LPDDR5x
Experience with ARM, PMIC, regulators
Hardware design and knowledge of PCIe, I2C, DP/eDP/HDMI, USB-C,WiFi, Audio.
