Cordova is seeking a highly specialized Senior Guidewire Developer with an Ace Certification in ClaimsCenter. This is a high-level technical leadership role designed for an expert who can bridge the gap between complex insurance architecture and secure, scalable software execution.
In this role, you will be a key collaborator with software architects, a mentor to programming staff, and a guardian of security standards. You will leverage your deep Guidewire InsuranceSuite expertise to drive modernization and excellence across the entire development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Architectural Collaboration & Design
Solution Design: Partner closely with software architects to design and build high-performance applications within the Guidewire ecosystem.
Security Leadership: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate security risks within software products to ensure enterprise-grade resilience.
Service Orientation: Apply Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles to ensure seamless integration and modularity.
Technical Coaching & Mentorship
Standards Advocacy: Coach and mentor programming staff on development standards, including secure coding practices and modern methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, DevOps).
Tooling Mastery: Guide the team in the effective use of source control software, database administration tools, development environments, and automated deployment applications.
Professional Development: Foster a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within the engineering team.
Systems Integration & DevOps
Deployment Excellence: Oversee the integration of applications and the deployment of software to ensure stable, repeatable release cycles.
Cross-Functional Alignment: Work across the DevOps pipeline to streamline development and operations, ensuring high availability of the ClaimsCenter platform.
