The Role

Datadog’s APJ GTM Strategy and Operations team is a recently established organization responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operational excellence across the region. The team uncovers, analyzes, and prioritizes improvement opportunities that drive incremental revenue and operational efficiency. We build business cases for APJ investment, optimize resources during annual planning, and collaborate closely with global teams to enhance systems, tools, programs, and processes. Our team also leads the execution of global initiatives within APJ and shares best practices across regions to accelerate global scale.

As our first local Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) GTM Strategy and Operations Senior Associate, you will help us scale key GTM processes, drive local adoption and improvements of global processes, collaborate with local sales leadership to increase revenue, and deliver day-to-day operational excellence. Expect to learn new things constantly while working cross-functionally with multiple global departments to maximize efficiency and capture growth opportunities through data analysis and discussions with sales leadership. You will help us accelerate the business in ANZ and improve GTM productivity by owning critical operations in the region. The successful candidate should bring natural curiosity and a solution orientation to investigate and address day-to-day issues our sales teams face while strategizing ways to remediate ongoing issues through innovation.

At Datadog, we place value in our office culture - the relationships and collaboration it builds, and the creativity it brings to the table. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build strong relationships with local, regional, and global cross-functional stakeholders to enhance GTM strategy and operations for Australia and New Zealand while sharing learnings across markets.
  • Localize and execute global GTM policies, ensuring they are adapted effectively to the ANZ market environment.
  • Advise local leadership on strategic needs, operational improvements, and the implementation of global programs within Australia and New Zealand.
  • Produce analyses, reports, and recommendations on sales and cross-functional performance to guide strategic decisions and identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Own key operational workflows including opportunity and territory management, lead and account assignments, reporting and dashboards, rules of engagement, and related core processes.
  • Orchestrate and support the rhythm of business, including data preparation for Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and annual territory planning.

Who You Are:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in GTM Strategy and Operations, consulting, banking, private equity, or a similar analytical field, ideally within SaaS.
  • Experience working in a regional or global capacity within a matrix organization.
  • Strong understanding of the ANZ market, including macro trends and cloud ecosystem dynamics.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence cross-functional decision-making.
  • Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations that improve efficiency and business performance.
  • High comfort operating in ambiguous environments and shifting priorities.
  • Flexibility to collaborate with regional and global teams across different time zones.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Clari, and BI tools such as Tableau or Metabase. SQL proficiency is a strong advantage.

Datadog values people from all walks of life. We understand not everyone will meet all the above qualifications on day one. That’s okay. If you’re passionate about technology and want to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply.

Benefits and Growth:

  • Generous and competitive benefits.
  • New hire stock equity (RSUs) and employee stock purchase plan.
  • Continuous career development and pathing opportunities.
  • Product training to develop an in-depth understanding of our product and space.
  • Internal mentor and buddy program cross-departmentally.
  • Friendly and inclusive workplace culture.

Benefits and Growth listed above may vary based on the country of your employment and the nature of your employment with Datadog.
