Who are we?
At Finastra, we are a global leader in financial services software, committed to broadening access to financial services and shaping the future of banking. Our solutions support over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, across more than 110 countries, powering mission‑critical capabilities in Universal Banking, Payments, and Lending.
We are hiring a Go-to-Market Programme Manager (Product Readiness) to own the product-side readiness for GTM launches of a growth Universal Banking product.
This role is not a marketing or channel-led GTM role - it is a product-led readiness role that ensures:
- The right opportunities enter the GTM funnel (intake discipline)
- The product is fully saleable, deployable, and repeatable (readiness build)
- Every GTM launch exits with complete, high-quality outputs (launch + scale)
Key Responsibilities
You will operationalise the bridge between Product Strategy → Roadmap → GTM execution, ensuring that no GTM is launched without meeting defined readiness standards across product, commercial, and delivery dimensions.
Key Accountability
Product Readiness Build (Midstream) – Ensure the product is SALEABLE
Own the Make + Sell readiness lifecycle to support the GTM readiness:
- Validate and drive closure of:
- Functional completeness
- Regulatory and localisation readiness
- Deployment readiness (cloud/on-prem, environments)
- Track readiness gaps and push resolution into roadmap and release planning
- Ensure product readiness aligns with PLM gates and GA criteria
Commercial “Sell-ready” ownership
- Work with functional product managers to help translate product capability into functional collateral and potential package combination to support/feed into GTM/ external ready collateral and packaging related to the following aspects:
- Pricing models, SKUs recommendations to Product Strategy team
- Value proposition and differentiation narrative
- identification of target segment, use cases, deal constructs
Delivery “Deploy-ready” ownership
- Validate implementation path:
- Finastra vs partner delivery model
- Dependencies, onboarding flows, repeatability
- Ensure customer journey is defined:
- Demo → sale → implementation → go-live path
Outcome: Product is fully “Make + Sell + Deliver-ready” with no critical unknowns blocking deals
Post-Launch Feedback Loop (Continuous Improvement)
- Establish structured loops from:
- Sales (deal blockers, objections)
- Pre-sales (demo gaps, feature gaps)
- Delivery (implementation friction, partner readiness)
- Convert insights into:
- Product backlog inputs
- GTM refinement cycles
- Repeatable “playbooks” for scaled rollout
Outcome: Continuous improvement and scaling of successful GTMs
Key Skillsets Required
Product-to-GTM Translation (Critical)
- Ability to translate product capability → commercial proposition → saleable solution
- Strong understanding of what makes a product “sellable” vs “build complete”
Structured Execution & Governance
- Experience working with:
- Stage-gated product lifecycle models
- GTM checklists / readiness frameworks
- Strong ability to enforce discipline, gates, and sign-offs
Universal Banking Domain Expertise
- Strong grounding in:
- Core banking (retail, lending, payments, channels)
- Regulatory, localisation, and ecosystem-led deployments
Cross-functional Leadership
- Proven ability to align with multiple stakeholders across:
- Product / Engineering
- Sales / Pre-sales
- Services / Partners
- Lead without authority across global teams
Analytical & Decision-Oriented
- Ability to assess:
- Market attractiveness
- GTM viability
- Readiness trade-offs and “go/no-go” decisions
Experience Required
- 7-9 years in Product Management, Product Operations, or Product GTM roles in core banking / fintech / enterprise SaaS
- Demonstrated experience owning:
- Product launch readiness
- Complex, multi-market GTMs
- Cross-functional execution in enterprise environments
- Experience in:
- Core banking platforms / universal banking solutions
- Partner-led or ecosystem-driven GTM models
