SUMMARY: 

 

As a GTM Operations Analyst, you will play a key role in executing and improving our go-to-market strategy by managing account and territory assignments, analyzing pipeline performance, and supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive growth. This role requires a hands-on operator with strong analytical skills, who is excited to dig into large datasets, uncover insights, and help turn them into scalable processes.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The Sales Operations Team develops and operationalizes a clear strategy for defining, sizing, and qualifying Placer’s markets. The team provides guidance on which verticals to prioritize, and how to maximize conversion across different stages of the pipeline.

The main sets of projects you will work on include:

  • Books of Business & Territory Management: Maintain and improve the account allocation model, ensuring equitable and effective distribution across sales teams. Regularly analyze and adjust territory rules to account for growth, team changes, and market dynamics
  • TAM triangulation: Query & analyze datasets to determine new prospects for Books/Territories
  • Project management: collaborating cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Data analysis: Develop & analyze KPIs, track sales pipeline performance, and optimize funnel conversion
  • Ad hoc analyses: Identify hotspots in the business that require intervention and proactively investigate, strategize, and implement solutions with the relevant leaders

 

ABOUT YOU:

 

You are an ideal candidate if you are highly analytical and proactive, very communicative, and willing to get into operational details with a results-driven approach. Specifically, you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree, in Economics, Business, Engineering, or a similar quantitative business degree with strong academic achievement
  • Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex and ambiguous problems, turn both quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights with solutions 

Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and PowerPoint/Google Slides

  • Experience working with SQL (Python is a plus)
  • Strong presentation skills, with strong attention to detail and a track record of communicating results to leadership through Powerpoint, Email, and Slack
  • Strong project management, execution, and change management skills, with experience driving cross-functional projects over the finish line in tight timelines 
  • Growth mindset with a strong sense of ownership; capable of seeking information, solving complex problems, corralling resources, and delivering results in challenging situations
