ABOUT THE ROLE:
The GTM Engineer builds the automations, custom apps, and AI-native workflows that power Talon. One's commercial engine. You'll be the person who closes the gap between what GTM teams need and what their tools actually give them.
ABOUT THE TEAM:
The GTM Planning and Operations team keeps Talon. One's commercial engine running, the systems, data, and workflows that Sales, Marketing, and Support depend on every day. You'll report directly to the Head of GTM Planning and Operations, and work closely with commercial stakeholders, Product, and Engineering to identify where the biggest friction is and go fix it. This is a full-time role based in Berlin, Germany.
ONCE YOU ARE HERE YOU WILL:
- Build and ship lightweight custom web apps that bypass slow SaaS interfaces, so commercial teams move faster without fighting their tools
- Design and deploy AI-powered workflows that directly move the metrics such as; pipeline generation, win rate, time-to-close, and net revenue retention
- Build, maintain, and own selected GTM tools end-to-end, automating routine upkeep so most of your time goes toward building what's next
- Monitor and improve data consistency across systems, catching issues early and putting sustainable automated fixes in place
- Investigate and resolve complex integration, workflow, and app issues, delivering stable long-term solutions rather than patches
- Stay ahead of the AI curve: track new models, emerging tools, and platform features across our stack and beyond, and bring clear recommendations on what's worth adopting
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, and Support to turn daily friction points into custom technical improvements
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING TO THE TABLE:
- At least 5 years in technical operations, revenue operations, automation engineering, or software engineering with a strong focus on internal tooling
- Proven experience using AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) to develop, debug, and ship functional web applications
- Working knowledge of Python and basic web technologies (HTML, JS); you are able to read code, follow logic, and steer agentic coding tools effectively
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs, webhooks, LLM APIs, and integration platforms like n8n, Workato, or Zapier
- Familiarity with the data models and APIs of GTM platforms such as Salesforce, Gong, Engage, HubSpot, or equivalent
- You can manage multiple initiatives independently in a fast-moving environment
- Strong analytical mindset with a bias toward building solutions rather than settling for workarounds
Our current stack you'll go deep on all of it and push what's possible:
