Civica works from local to central government, to education, to health and care, over 5,000 public bodies across the globe use our solutions to help provide critical services to over 100 million citizens.

Our aspiration is to be a GovTech champion everywhere we work around the globe, supporting the needs of citizens and those that serve them every day. Building on 21 years of continuous growth and success, we're at a pivotal point on our journey to realise that aspiration.

Why you'll love this opportunity as GTM Analyst with us

Our Go-To-Market (GTM) Analytics team plays a critical role in helping Civica make smarter, data-led commercial decisions. As we continue to grow, having clear visibility of sales performance, trends and the effectiveness of our compensation plans is increasingly important.

We’re looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded GTM Analyst to join the team. This role will partner closely with our Sales and GTM leadership teams, using data to provide meaningful insights that support performance, planning and growth.

A key focus of the role will be supporting the design, modelling and ongoing analysis of internal and external market data. You’ll analyse GTM performance against targets, identify trends and patterns, model different scenarios, and help leaders understand what the data is telling us and where action may be needed.

You’ll also take ownership of key GTM dashboards and reporting, bringing together data and provide insights from across the business to provide a clear view of performance. Beyond regular reporting, you’ll dig deeper into the numbers, delivering ad-hoc analysis that helps answer important commercial questions and supports better decision-making.

What you will do be to be successful in this role

  • Performance & trend analysis – Identifying trends, patterns and opportunities within GTM data and translating them into clear, actionable commercial insights.
  • Dashboarding & reporting – Owning and developing key dashboards and reporting that give Sales and GTM leaders a clear view of performance.
  • Commercial insight – Going beyond reporting the numbers to explain what they mean, what is driving performance and where there may be opportunities or risks.
  • Data interrogation – Carrying out ad-hoc analysis to answer commercial questions around sales performance, productivity, targets, compensation and wider GTM effectiveness.
  • Business partnering – Working closely with Sales, Finance and GTM stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide insight that supports decision-making.
  • Data quality & consistency – Helping ensure the data underpinning GTM reporting and compensation analysis is accurate, reliable and trusted.

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys getting into the detail of the data, but who can also step back and understand the wider commercial picture.

You’ll ideally bring:

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with confidence working with large and complex datasets.
  • Experience analysing sales performance, commission, incentives or compensation plans.
  • Strong Excel skills, including modelling and scenario analysis.
  • Experience creating dashboards and turning complex data into meaningful insights for stakeholders.
  • A commercially curious mindset. You don’t just report what happened, you want to understand why it happened.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when working with targets, compensation and performance data.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and communicating analytical findings in a clear, straightforward way.
  • The ability to work at pace and balance recurring reporting with ad-hoc commercial analysis.
