Role:

We are seeking a confident, competent, and gritty Growth Product Manager to join our dynamic team. As a GPM at Function, you’ll be part of a team that’s dedicated to using technology to improve healthcare. You’ll work on a cutting-edge platform that enables our members to access their health data in real-time, and you’ll be challenged to make a difference in people’s lives.The ideal candidate will be meticulous in their attention to detail, self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment. As an early member of our team, your contributions will play a critical role in shaping the future of our systems as we scale from tens of thousands of members to millions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Growth Planning: Design and implement data-driven growth strategies across various channels, including organic discovery and digital marketing, to enhance user acquisition and engagement.
  • Data Analysis and User Insights: Utilize analytics to deeply understand user behavior, identify pain points, and measure the effectiveness of growth initiatives. Use these insights to drive decision-making and optimize the product experience.
  • Product Roadmap Development: Prioritize and define growth-focused features within the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with broader business objectives and user needs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with engineering, marketing, data science, and design teams to translate strategic goals into actionable product enhancements and campaigns.
  • Experimentation and Optimization: Lead rigorous A/B testing and other experimental approaches to continuously refine and validate growth strategies, ensuring optimal user retention and revenue generation.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to adapt growth strategies and identify emerging opportunities for innovation and expansion.
  • Technical Problem-Solving: Tackle technical and product-related challenges head-on, particularly in scenarios where you hold unique insights. Whether by devising solutions yourself or enabling your team with the necessary knowledge, your proactive approach will ensure that technical barriers do not impede growth.


Qualifications/Skills:

  • At least 8+ years of product management with 5 years of direct experience operating in growth and monetization facets of product management. This includes a strong track record in developing and executing growth strategies for various products from the ground up (0-1 phase).
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in a rigorous metrics-driven environment. Experience should include deep involvement in setting up and leading robust experimentation and A/B testing processes to drive product decisions and improvements.
  • Background at a company with strong analytical rigor and a structured approach to product management. This background ensures familiarity with high standards of operational excellence and metric-based product development.
  • Proven ownership of the growth domain with quantifiable results (e.g., conversion rates, engagement metrics, or other key growth KPIs)
  • Deep understanding of product development lifecycle and experience in managing complex projects
