The Assistant Controller will build and scale accounting infrastructure across domestic and international entities. Responsibilities include managing the general ledger, consolidations, AP, payroll, intercompany accounting, month-end close, GAAP compliance, international tax support, audits, investor reporting, and financial dashboards. The role will optimize ERP and finance technology, automate processes using AI and OCR, improve controls, and mentor accounting staff while partnering cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.

Lead the global workforce strategy workstream across People, Legal, Finance, Tax, and business leadership. Build cost-benefit analyses for contractor, EOR, and legal entity models; create decision frameworks and contractor guardrails; support UK expansion and LATAM hiring; drive stakeholder decisions; establish governance; and deliver playbooks, templates, and documentation for sustainable international growth.

Design and operate scalable, cloud-native data pipelines and orchestration systems for imaging, biomarker, and healthcare data. Build Databricks and distributed processing workflows, integrate DICOM data into data lakes, and implement validation, observability, monitoring, and fault tolerance. Collaborate with data science, AI, R&D, product, and data management teams to deliver secure, compliant, reliable data for analytics and machine learning.

Lead Function's multi-channel social and creator strategy, scale organic and paid influencer programs, build creator/talent relationships, manage a small social and creator team, drive cultural relevance and measurable acquisition outcomes, and align social work to business metrics through real-time execution and cross-functional collaboration.

Designs statistical analysis plans and validates machine learning models using rigorous performance, calibration, uncertainty, subgroup, fairness, and longitudinal analyses. Applies biostatistical methods to healthcare data, documents assumptions and limitations for auditability and regulatory readiness, and translates complex findings into clinically meaningful insights. Collaborates with engineering, machine learning, data, clinical, and product teams.

Lead daily operations for a Lab Visit Support team of approximately 10 Member Support Agents. Responsibilities include real-time staffing and workload allocation, coaching and performance management, escalation resolution, quality oversight, onboarding, KPI monitoring, process improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and reporting operational insights. The role requires rotating weekend and holiday on-call coverage and supports members during lab visits, including Quest and mobile phlebotomy appointments.

Own R&D budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, headcount planning, variance analysis, and executive reporting. Partner with technical, product, people, medical, and finance leaders to translate AI/API usage, infrastructure, vendors, lab operations, and personnel investments into accurate financial plans. Build scalable finance processes and planning systems, improve reporting and forecast accuracy, and apply AI to streamline finance workflows in a fast-moving environment.

Lead and grow an engineering team, set technical vision, drive delivery of scalable secure systems, partner with product/design, establish engineering practices (Agile, CI/CD, TDD), mentor engineers, and promote innovation to advance Function's healthcare platform.

Owns Function Health’s imaging partner network across 200+ facilities, including account management, onboarding, launches, SLAs, CRM hygiene, commercial terms, escalations, and network strategy. Leads and develops account managers, drives partner prioritization and remediation decisions, manages critical renewals and contracts, supports product expansion and international growth, and coordinates with Product, Operations, Finance, Legal, Engineering, and Member Experience.

The Head of AI will define and execute an AI roadmap, lead research initiatives, mentor the AI team, and collaborate with senior leadership to enhance health technology.

Own product and member-facing copy across in-app flows, onboarding, notifications, and communications. Define and steward brand voice, collaborate with Design, Product, and Clinical teams, drive UX writing upstream of design decisions, iterate using A/B testing and member data, and raise editorial standards across the org. Work closely with AI tools and design for agentic experiences.

Develop and expand Function Health’s channel partnerships across the employee benefits ecosystem. Build relationships with benefits consultants, brokers, HSA/FSA platforms, PEOs, and healthcare partners; generate enterprise sales pipeline; support commercial agreements; represent the company at industry events; gather market intelligence; and collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product, Legal, and leadership teams to scale partner-driven growth.

Own SuppCo’s lifecycle marketing strategy, execution, automation, and reporting across email, push, and in-app messaging. Build onboarding, engagement, conversion, replenishment, and winback journeys in Iterable; personalize recommendations using Iterable Catalog; define KPIs; and lead experimentation focused on activation, repeat purchases, LTV, and churn. Collaborate with growth, creative, product, lifecycle, and data teams to launch campaigns and scale SuppCo’s member experience.

Lead product- and content-led organic growth across virality/referrals, conversion optimization, and search (SEO, AI-driven discovery, YouTube). Run experiments, build attribution, recruit and manage a lean team, and use AI tools to scale member acquisition and retention without paid channels.

Own month-end and quarter-end revenue close for DTC memberships and imaging/scan services; prepare journal entries, deferred revenue schedules, and reconciliations; investigate data quality issues and partner with engineering/product to resolve root causes; support Rillet integration and reconcile payment processors like Stripe; maintain audit-ready revenue schedules and implement process improvements to strengthen controls.

Own and architect the semantic layer and metrics/metadata for the data platform (Databricks/GCP). Build AI-ready models, enforce modeling and documentation standards, implement observability/testing for pipelines, enable self-serve analytics, and collaborate across product, clinical, and business teams to translate questions into reliable data solutions.

Lead full‑stack development of the imaging web platform: architect and build ASP.NET Core services and Vue frontends, design secure APIs integrating EMRs and AI, own testing, CI/CD, and Azure deployments, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and clinical teams to deliver performant, reliable screening experiences.

Lead design and delivery of full-stack imaging features, architect high-performance ASP.NET Core services, build Vue frontends, integrate APIs with EMRs and imaging partners, mentor engineers, enforce automated testing, CI/CD and observability, and drive technical roadmap in an Agile team.

Design and implement AI-powered security agents and tooling across CI/CD, perform threat modeling and manual assessments, find and drive remediation of vulnerabilities, embed security into development workflows, connect telemetry to detection systems, and shape product security strategy and incident response.

Lead frontend architecture and product development for member-facing web and mobile apps. Build high-performance, accessible React/React Native UIs, own end-to-end features including APIs and backend services, mentor engineers, drive design system and frontend standards, and collaborate with Product, Design, Clinical, and Data teams to deliver scalable, user-centered health experiences.
