Join the team redefining how the world experiences design.
Hey, g'day, mabuhay, kia ora, こんにちは, 你好, hallo, नमस्ते, 안녕하세요, hola, salut!
Thanks for stopping by. We know job descriptions can feel a bit formulaic sometimes, but we promise Canva is anything but. If you're drawn to what we're building and you see yourself in this role, we'd love to hear from you.
Where and How You Can Work
This role is based in Vietnam. We believe in working where you do your best thinking — Canva offers flexibility to work in a way that suits you, whether that's remote, hybrid, or in-office.
What You'd Be Doing in This Role
Canva has over 250 million monthly active users across 190 countries, and Vietnam is one of our most exciting growth markets. We're building a local marketing team that's deeply rooted in the market, highly creative, and commercially sharp — and we need a Growth & Marketing Lead to sit at the centre of it all.
This is a well-rounded generalist role, not a performance specialist role. You'll own Vietnam's campaign calendar, shape the budget and channel strategy, lead partnerships, and make sure the whole team is pulling in the same direction. Our global search, ASO, and performance teams handle day-to-day media execution — your job is to own the strategic layer above that: setting priorities, guiding creative, and making sure Canva shows up consistently and effectively across every touchpoint in Vietnam.
At the moment, this role is focused on:
- Building and owning the Vietnam campaign calendar — aligning it with regional and global priorities, and coordinating the Social & Creative Lead, Design Lead, and Community Lead to bring multi-channel campaigns to life on time and on brief
- Setting the media mix and leading budget allocation across channels, in close partnership with the Global Growth Marketing team
- Guiding creative strategy using performance data — shaping briefs, and knowing when to scale, pause, or refresh
- Building a strong working understanding of how performance marketing drives MAU and revenue in Vietnam, and using that to guide where we invest
- Understanding the media measurement toolkit — MMM, incrementality studies, MMP and platform data — well enough to translate it into clear direction for the team
- Contributing to Vietnam's partnership strategy: identifying the right partners, supporting negotiations, and building a framework the team can use to evaluate and prioritise opportunities
You're Probably a Match If:
- You have well-rounded marketing experience across branding and multi-channel campaign management — you're as comfortable with a campaign brief as you are with a media plan
- You've built and run campaign calendars before, coordinating multiple stakeholders to land them on time
- You have a strong understanding of media buying principles and the modern measurement toolkit (MMM, lift studies, incrementality testing) — enough to guide strategy and budget decisions, even if you're not running campaigns day-to-day
- You've developed partnership strategy and negotiated directly with partners, from first conversation to signed agreement
- You're a strong cross-functional operator — you know how to coordinate without direct authority and keep diverse teams aligned toward a shared outcome
- You're comfortable in a fast-paced, remote, multi-market environment and you make things happen without waiting for perfect conditions
About the Team
Vietnam's marketing team blends creativity, partnerships, and data to make Canva show up at its best in the market. You'll work closely with the Social & Creative Lead, Design Lead, and Community Lead locally, and connect into the broader regional and global marketing organisation. It's a collaborative, high-trust team with real ambition — and this role sits at the centre of it.
