The Role

We are looking for a highly driven Growth Manager to act as a strategic business manager, spearheading the go-to-market strategy and execution for new product offerings and growth initiatives. This role requires a cross-functional collaborator who will work closely with Product, Product Management, Sales, Product Marketing, and Enablement teams to ensure successful market adoption and accelerated revenue growth. The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, excels at strategic planning, and thrives on delivering measurable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program/Project Management

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive strategic plans outlining key milestones, deliverables, and dependencies for the product launch and ongoing growth initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional resources, manage actions, and track progress to ensure timely completion of strategic initiative goals.
  • Identify potential risks or bottlenecks and proactively implement mitigation strategies.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Collaborate with Product Management and Product Marketing to facilitate clear market positioning, messaging, and target audience segmentation.
  • Work with Revenue Enablement to develop and deliver training materials, playbooks, and resources that empower the sales team to effectively position and sell the product.
  • Support and guide marketing efforts to build demand generation campaigns, messaging, and collateral.

Sales Support & Growth Initiatives

  • Act as a liaison between Sales and Product teams, ensuring sales feedback is incorporated into product roadmap and enhancements.
  • Partner with Sales leadership to track pipeline, identify growth opportunities, and optimize sales processes for the product.
  • Lead data-driven analyses to measure performance, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to accelerate revenue growth.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the central point of contact for all stakeholders, fostering a culture of open communication and collaboration.
  • Align various teams (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success) on strategic priorities, timelines, and goals.
  • Facilitate regular meetings, status updates, and reporting, ensuring alignment on key metrics and deliverables.

Strategic Planning & Continuous Improvement

  • Work closely with leadership to define strategic objectives, success criteria, and KPIs for product growth.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics (e.g., sales conversion, adoption, customer satisfaction) to inform future initiatives and optimize existing processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying best practices, streamlining workflows, and evaluating new tools or methodologies that enhance productivity and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education & Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree (MBA) is preferred, not required.
    • 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Growth, Program Management, or related roles.
    • Demonstrated success in managing complex, cross-functional projects within fast-paced environments.
  • Technical & Business Acumen
    • Familiarity with software development lifecycles and product launch processes.
    • Strong understanding of go-to-market strategies, sales enablement, and product marketing fundamentals.
    • Experience with analytics tools, CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), and project management software (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Trello).
  • Project Management & Leadership
    • Proven track record of leading large-scale initiatives from concept to completion.
    • PMP/PMI or Agile certifications preferred but not required.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously.
  • Communication & Collaboration
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to influence and motivate cross-functional teams.
    • Strong presentation skills and ability to distill complex ideas into clear, actionable insights.
    • Proven ability to build relationships and effectively work with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Analytical & Results-Oriented
    • Skilled in leveraging data to drive decisions, validate assumptions, and measure success.
    • Comfortable working with KPIs, dashboards, and analytics to track progress and identify opportunities.
    • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed objectives in a high-growth environment.

Benefits and Compensation listed vary based on the location of your employment and the nature of your employment with SailPoint.

As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the SailPoint Corporate Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission, along with potential eligibility for equity participation. SailPoint maintains broad salary ranges for its roles to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect SailPoint’s differing products, industries, and lines of business. Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity. We estimate the base salary, for US-based employees, will be in this range from (min-mid-max, USD):

$164,570 - $235,100 - $305,630

Base salaries for employees based in other locations are competitive for the employee’s home location.
